Kate Moss, who has recently been holidaying with Lily Allen, has managed to hold on to the Just Cavalli campaign for another season. In the campaign she poses with a young male model wearing denim, part frocks and an oversized jacket. The pair were shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott for the campaign which has a party feel about it. What do you think of these adverts?

Fab Ad: Just Cavalli Spring '09

Is it me or does Kate Moss look extra beautiful in this campaign? The ad, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, captures the flawless Super wearing an array of the designer's tantalizing, Luxotica frocks and separates, looking undeniably glamorous. I love how the rich, tropical background complements Cavalli's lush animal prints and sensual palette. Her accessories are also amazing, and I can't forget to mention eye-candy models Kerry Degman and Justin Gaston. It's sensory overload, but in a good way.

Trend Alert: Bad Taste

This Spring an unusual trend emerged on the catwalk. Instead of trying to look elegant and classy, a penchant for bad taste appeared with animal prints, clashing colours and funky neon shades gracing the catwalk. This style was present across the fashion capitals from London to Milan with everybody from Christopher Kane, to Danielle Scutt to Just Cavalli rocking the bad taste look. M.I.A already tried out bad taste at this year's Grammy Awards where she wore a Manish Arora babydoll frock with a bright yellow bra.

Lady Gaga also continues to pioneer the look with leotards and wild headwear. There is a definite '80s vibe to this look as denim jackets, printed leggings and white stilettos make a come back. Animal print has been popular for a while but leopard print (especially this Agent Provocateur bodysuit) is experiencing a moment. How do you feel about this style (or perhaps that should be lack of?)

Fab Ad: Kate Moss for Just Cavalli

Kate Moss is still racking up ad campaigns and this week her latest shoot for Just Cavalli has been revealed. Kate has long been the face of the younger Cavalli label and back in July I revealed her Autumn campaign. Spring 2009 sees Kate clad in fur with oversized shades. Just this week Roberto Cavalli added to his fashion empire opening his first nightclub in Florence.

Kate too has been expanding her empire as she is confirmed for more collections with High Street giant Topshop. She first launched the collaboration in May 2007 but today her contract was extended for a further 3 years. Kate commented,

"The last two years have been an exciting experience, and Topshop has given me the perfect platform to develop my own collection, which is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. I am really looking forward to working with the Topshop team on our new collections and thank everybody who already owns a piece of Kate Moss for Topshop!"

Kate has been celebrating the news by doing a spot of Christmas shopping with Jamie Hince at another of Sir Philip Green's stores; Bhs!

I Want This Wardrobe: Gossip Girl, Serena van der Woodsen

Last night's episode of Gossip Girl was filled with new beginnings. Blair was trying to get in good graces with the Yale folks while Jenny presented her first fashion show. Serena, of course, was busy with her fluctuating love life. In an attempt to woo her new love interest, Serena pulled out all the fashion stops. Her Just Cavalli gown and jeweled Armani pumps were just what the love doctor ordered. Though you can't see it here, a cozy Vince shawl goes perfectly with her sophisticated frock. Note how Serena spiced things up with a colorful cocktail ring. Hail the queen!

Fall Glimpse: Separate Together

Admittedly, I got very used to the ease and femininity of the dress. The dress had a good run - and now my closet is bursting with them - but it's time to be more creative. The return of sportswear for Fall will bring many brilliant separates; micro-mini and calf-length skirts, scrunchy skinny, and slouchy, baggy pants, sheer and boldy printed tops, and some freakin' amazing outerwear.

Michael Kors is one man who has always done separates divinely (wave to Jourdan Dunn at left). If you choose to go the Mad Men route, he is your fashion God. If you're more of a mix master, dig Just Cavalli. For modernists, Y & Kei's sculptured jacket and serious slacks inspire.

Fab Ad: Kate Moss for Just Cavalli

Just when you think that the fashion world is bored of Kate Moss, she lands herself another ad campaign! For Autumn she is the face of Just Cavalli and these two ads have just been released. Moss is pulling exactly the same expression in both photos but I prefer the navy blue dress on her, I feel it suits her better. What do you think of the ad campaign? Sometimes when ads feature such high profile models like Kate Moss I feel that the clothes are slightly overlooked. However, I can imagine Kate wearing both of these outfits.
