Kate Garraway has become the proud mother of a baby boy! She and her husband Derek Draper have named their son William Garraway Draper, and he weighed 7lb 12oz when he was born.
Kate left the GMTV sofa for her maternity leave a fortnight ago and she's planning on returning in the Autumn after she spends some time with her new family.

Ever since Fern Britton announced she is to leave This Morning, rumours have flown as to who will replace her. The latest presenter in contention is Holly Willoughby, as Phillip Scholfield has apparently told ITV bosses he wants his Dancing on Ice cohost to join him. London night spot Embassy celebrated its seventh birthday yesterday with a whole host of reality TV stars. Big Brother's Chanelle Hayes, who was celebrating her 21st birthday, went for a white concoction while GMTV presenter and one-time Strictly Come Dancing contestant Kate Garraway grabbed all the attention of the tabloids in her lacy black number. BB lovebirds Rex Newmark and Nicole Cammack proved they're still going strong, while their housemate Dale Howard left with Shipwrecked's Naomi Millbank-Smith: is this a new reality TV relationship I see before me?
Stars Of The Small Screen Celebrate!
We've taken a look at the silver screen awards ceremony from last night, but there were also some seemingly more raucous small screen awards happening at the Dorchester Hotel. The champagne was flowing at the TV Quick & TV Choice Awards last night — the ladies got their best frocks on (I love Sammy Winward's navy number) and and the nominees were in high spirits — John Barrowman snogged This Morning TV pundit Sharon Marshall in celebration following Doctor Who's win for Best Loved TV Show!
Loose Women won Best Daytime Show in the reader-voted ceremony, The Apprentice and Strictly Come Dancing won awards, and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway took Best Entertainment Show.
Kelly's Crowned Best Dressed at LK Fashion Awards
Kelly Osbourne may have missed out on the Rising Star trophy at last night's Sony Radio Academy Awards, but she was a happy bunny at the other awards ceremony of the evening — the LK High Street Fashion Awards — as she was voted Best Dressed Celebrity by The Perfume Shop customers! The awards bash at Cafe De Paris drew lots of celebs, some of whom wore beautiful dresses (gold star for Myleene Klass, again) while others wore, ahem, interesting outfits (Sam Marchant, I'm looking at you). Jason Donovan took in both the Sony Radio and LK Fashion ceremonies, serenading the crowd at the latter.

Stars Fight the Rain With Bright Colours at TRIC Awards
Stars of TV and radio braved the British weather yesterday for the Television And Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards 2008 held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The female stars stuck to their glamorous plans and arrived in a beautiful array of dresses, with lots of jewel tones brightening up the dreary weather outside: Roxanne Pallet rocked red, Kate Garraway chose orange, and Kym Ryder went bold with blue. EastEnders girls Tiana Benjamin, Belinda Owusu and Kara Tointon made a terrific trio in their colourful outfits, and even the more mature couple of Neil and Christine Hamilton embraced brightness.
