Kate and Kurt Cheer on World Series Champ A-Rod!
Kate Hudson had her dad Kurt Russell by her side last night as they watched Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees take home the World Series title after beating the Phillies in game six. A-Rod joined teammates like Mark Teixiera, A.J. Burnett, and CC Sabathia for a fun-filled afterparty at 1Oak, which also brought out Derek Jeter and his girlfriend Minka Kelly.

The Yankees won two on the road, but it wasn't enough so he and his team will be back on their home field tonight. Kate has proved herself a loyal fan, whether or not she's the key to A-Rod's success and she'll certainly be there tonight to cheer him on.

Kate and MM Cheer Big Despite Yankees Rough Game One
Kate Hudson bundled up and headed to Yankee Stadium last night to watch game one of the World Series with Kurt Russell. She was also joined by good friend Matthew McConaughey and pregnant Camila Alves, but unfortunately for the celebrity crew, Alex Rodriguez and his Yankees couldn't pull out a win. They'll be back for more tonight, and Kate isn't one to miss a playoff game — which even means that she's apparently called off her annual star-studded Halloween party in order to cheer on Alex when the series moves to Philadelphia on Saturday.
