Kate Hudson brought Ryder out in Santa Monica last night to take in a performance from Cirque du Soleil. Despite Kate's hectic schedule promoting Nine, she's had lots of time to spend with her son during their trip to California. Alex Rodriguez, though, was the guy by Kate's side on Sunday at the American Music Awards.

Kate Hudson and Ryder brought some friends along for lunch in Brentwood today. The actress arrived back home in LA after a trip to NYC to do promotion for Nine as well as a stop by Oprah to chat about the star-studded movie. Kate revealed that her 6-year-old son had a bit of a thing for beautiful Penelope Cruz, and though he may be too young to watch mom and all her female costars up on the big screen, he can still enjoy Kate's singing during the bedtime bonding she loves so much.

Kate Hudson was decked out in another white dress — this one more skin baring and sexy, less ready to walk down the aisle — at her photo shoot in NYC today. Ryder tagged along for the day, and even got suited up in an adorable tie to pose with his mom for a few shots which she checked out between takes. Ryder also joined Kate in a Vogue spread back in 2007, so at this point he's just building his modeling portfolio.

They're home in NYC following their many trips to see Yankees games across the county, as Kate's relationship with Alex Rodriguez heats up. The couple is supposedly shopping for a love nest to move in together and there are also rumors that she's pregnant — though her rep denies it. Perhaps someone was mixing up the Hudson siblings, since her brother Oliver is expecting another child with his wife.

Kate Hudson and Ryder were back at the beach on Sunday and this time they were joined by Kate's family including brother Oliver and her carbon copy mom Goldie Hawn (seriously, guess who?). Kate's been surrounding herself with loved ones since her split with Lance and now there are rumors that she's been calling Owen Wilson again. We can't help but like the two of them together but the constant back and forth can't be good for anyone involved.

The Yankees lost all three games against the Angels but A-Rod didn't look too upset while out to dinner with Kate. Kate Hudson kicked off her weekend in Miami with a night out at the Fontainebleau hotel on Friday. She went a little more casual for a baseball game yesterday, when she brought Ryder along to see Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees play the Marlins. Alex's team lost the game by one run, and some of his fans are upset because he was out late with Kate the night before.

Kate Hudson spent her Saturday pedaling around Miami with Ryder on the back of her bike. Her little man has always been upfront about his fashion statements, and it looks like that helmet might be his new favorite choice of headgear. While we're itching to hear more about Kate and Owen's on-again relationship, it's clear that Ryder still holds the #1 spot in her life.
