Seems like Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs might have more in common than just both holidaying on the same island. This weekend Kate Moss has been revealed as the latest cover star of Interview magazine which Marc Jacobs graced earlier this year.

The English supermodel appears on the bright coloured cover which simply states 'It's new, pussy cat.'

Kate Moss has a history of not doing interviews. She began to slowly break her silence with the launch of her Topshop collection and has now granted an honest interview to Interview Magazine.

We revealed the cover earlier in the month and most of you loved it. Inside Kate talks candidly about Lila, her wardrobe and being too skinny.

On Lila:
I'm saving my clothes for her really. That's my blackmail. "Don't eat your dinner and you won't get my clothes. You won't grown and you won't get into my clothes." Now she's a fashion freak.

On Shopping:
I like clothes, but I hardly ever go shopping. If I see a second-hand shop, I'll go in. But I don't, like, traipse down Bond Street. I don't have as many clothes as you probably think. I'm a big Brian Jones fan and I bought his coat, this Ossie Clark pink-and-white tweed coat.
On being skinny:
I didn't eat for a long time. Not on purpose. You'd be on shoots with bad food or get on a plane and the food would be so disgusting you couldn't eat it. You go to a show and there's no food at all ... I remember standing up in the bath one day and ... I was so thin! I was never anorexic ... I remember thinking, I don't want to be this skinny.

Kate Moss is not the only model to speak out against the attitude of eating in the fashion industry. Karen Elson also spoke out and told The Guardian,

"Fashion is obsessed with finding young, beautiful and vulnerable girls, bringing them into the fashion world, praising them, worshipping them but suddenly dropping them like a stone when they hit puberty and grow boobs and hips. It's so dangerous and can potentially harm the girls mentally and physically."

Kate Moss is Branded as "Irresponsible" for Skinny Comments

When Kate Moss gave an interview to WWD about her new fragrance, I was pretty shocked to hear her reveal one of her mottoes – "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". It seems to have been a bit of a slow burner in the news, but today it has landed the model in trouble as eating disorder charity Beat described the comments as "dangerous" and "very unhelpful".

Storm models released a statement saying that Kate's comments had "been taken out of context and completely misrepresented." They also added, "For the record - Kate does not support this as a lifestyle choice."

Former model Caprice has spoken out against Kate saying, "I don't even know why she said that. I really like her but it's so irresponsible." The saying is strongly associated with eating disorders and regularly appears on pro-anorexia websites.

In recent years there has been a lot of campaigns in place to tackle the so-called "size zero" including one set up by former Ultimo model Katie Green. She also branded Kate as "irresponsible" for her comments adding, "We are trying to get the government to put something in place to stamp out size zero models and comments like this aren't doing anything to help that." Kate and Jamie Go on Their Merry Way With Alison

Kate Moss hit the town in London on Friday night with Jamie Hince by her side. Despite rumors of trouble between Kate and his bandmate in The Kills Alison Mosshart, the whole trio was out for an evening of fun. This morning she was rolling solo, out for a stroll in her striped shirt. Kate had more reason than usual to celebrate over the weekend after launching her new perfume, Vintage. She opened up about her new scent in a revealing recent interview, in which she shared one of her beloved, if not controversial, life mottos.

Three's Not a Crowd for Kate Moss and The Kills

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince were joined by Jamie's bandmate Alison Mosshart on a night out on Saturday, as the three of them went out to eat at J Sheekey's in London. Kate was wrapped up warm in one of her vintage furs as she strolled hand in hand with Alison - hopefully once and for all ending rumours that Jamie's favourite girls don't get on. Kate caused a little controversy in an interview with WWD as she revealed the mottos that she tries to stick to, saying: "There are loads. There’s 'Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.' That’s one of them. You try and remember, but it never works." Delicious dinners out must make that one motto worth forgetting, don't you think?

Kate Moss Denies Pregnancy Rumours

Kate Moss has dismissed those pregnancy rumours in an interview with New York Magazine, saying the apparent baby bump is just weight gain. Talking about her new lingerie collection, Kate said:

"I’ve got a clear idea of what I want for lingerie. I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle. Not today, but I have been. Great timing for my lingerie collection. I’ve just grown breasts... I am a woman now! It’s true. No, honestly, I’ve never worn a bra in my life. Ever! It’s so awful, even my friends are phoning me up and saying 'Are you pregnant?' And I’m like, 'No! I just put on a couple of pounds, and they went in the right place.' Isn’t that weird? And how perfect for lingerie."

Like me, the majority of you thought Kate probably was pregnant, but for now it looks like Kate's just letting her hair down and eating what she likes. Good for her!

Kate Moss Doesn't Like Fame and Dotes on Her Daughter

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince were out in London at the weekend looking as close as ever as they walked down the road chatting and sharing a cigarette. In The Observer this weekend, Kate spoke about her latest collection for Topshop as well as fame and what she's most proud of in her life - her daughter, Lila Grace. Here's a couple of extracts from her interview:

On Fame: "When I work with photographers I become a muse, sort of. But it's not me. It's this character that they make me into. I've no idea why people are so interested in me. It makes me a bit uncomfortable talking about it, actually. I don't like being famous, no. It... encroaches on your life. A lot. It's something I'm still learning to deal with. If I can keep people interested in my work for another few years I'll be happy."
On Lila Grace: "But the thing I'm always most proud of is my daughter. She's seven now, and vice captain of her class! My goodness! I've never been vice captain of anything! She wants to be a chef, and her imaginary husband is a chef too. I was mother of the bride at their imaginary wedding, standing on the side holding her imaginary baby."
