Kate Moss is Branded as "Irresponsible" for Skinny Comments

When Kate Moss gave an interview to WWD about her new fragrance, I was pretty shocked to hear her reveal one of her mottoes – "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". It seems to have been a bit of a slow burner in the news, but today it has landed the model in trouble as eating disorder charity Beat described the comments as "dangerous" and "very unhelpful".

Storm models released a statement saying that Kate's comments had "been taken out of context and completely misrepresented." They also added, "For the record - Kate does not support this as a lifestyle choice."

Former model Caprice has spoken out against Kate saying, "I don't even know why she said that. I really like her but it's so irresponsible." The saying is strongly associated with eating disorders and regularly appears on pro-anorexia websites.

In recent years there has been a lot of campaigns in place to tackle the so-called "size zero" including one set up by former Ultimo model Katie Green. She also branded Kate as "irresponsible" for her comments adding, "We are trying to get the government to put something in place to stamp out size zero models and comments like this aren't doing anything to help that." Despite rumors of trouble between Kate and his bandmate in The Kills Alison Mosshart, the whole trio was out for an evening of fun. This morning she was rolling solo, out for a stroll in her striped shirt. Kate had more reason than usual to celebrate over the weekend after launching her new perfume, Vintage. She opened up about her new scent in a revealing recent interview, in which she shared one of her beloved, if not controversial, life mottos.

Kate Moss Is Taking Care of Her Own Hair For the Time Being

Kate Moss broke out her old Vivienne Westwood pirate boots for dinner at Nobu in London last night with Jamie Hince and Amber Valletta. It was her second recent night out in the same fur jacket, though Kate kept things otherwise casual in her tank and jeans. Amber and Kate have known each other for many years, and with Amber's first clothing line, Amber Valletta For Monrow, launching next week, Kate can probably give her some great model-turned-designer advice. One friend of Kate's who might be around a little less often is her former BFF James Brown - she's apparently decided to stop seeing him as a hairstylist after getting pissed about how much airtime she got on his Supermodel Salon TV show.

Kate Has Everything Settled For Herself in London

Kate Moss was out in London with her assistant Fiona yesterday. Miss Moss was decked out in all black, which is pretty much her usual these days. She's back home in England after spending time in France for Paris Fashion Week, where she hit the town with Jamie right by her side. Kate switched into a pair of gray jeans for lunch with him today at their local pub, as they get right back into their regular hometown routine.

Kate Is Very Selective About Her Salons

Kate Moss stepped out in London yesterday to visit the John Freida salon. She left with her hair all tied up in a bun, so we didn't get a peek at whether she had anything done to it inside. A few hours later Kate was back with her usual hairdresser, her BFF James Brown, whose 40th birthday party she attended last night. Kate has offered James lots of support in the past, turning out for his big opening bash and promising to make an appearance on his upcoming reality show.

Kate Moss had Jamie Hince by her side last night to attend a friend's birthday party in London. It was her second late night out for the week, after Tuesday's GQ Men of the Year Awards. Things apparently didn't turn out too well at the magazine's bash, as Kate stormed out following the host's making a rude joke at her expense. She had a few days to cool off, and Kate didn't seem too flustered about the incident as she headed out to celebrate with Jamie.

Kate Returns to London and Her Regular Routine

Kate Moss arrived back in London over the weekend after a trip with Jamie Hince, and one of her first orders of business was a meeting yesterday before joining friends at a hotel in the evening. It's been a few weeks since we've seen Kate doing her thing in England, though we did get a peek at her latest gypsy-inspired magazine spread. Even in her absence, things aren't really slowing down for Kate. She's apparently signed on to appear in her BFF James Brown's upcoming TV show, and her latest collection for Topshop recently launched. One thing that won't be on Kate's agenda is the retrospective that was being organized about her career in a Paris museum - it's been postponed due to a lack of funding.
