Kate Moss Cancels Book Deal While Pete Doherty Gets One

Drug addict idiot, Pete Doherty has decided to write a book about his druggie days with Kate Moss. I'm thinking this is not the best way to win her back or, for his sake, stay out of jail. It's really sad that this guy wants to be famous for doing drugs. Besides, the way this guy does drugs he won't even be able to finish the book before ending up in jail or dead. Page Six reports:

JUST when Kate Moss thought she was rid of Pete Doherty, the junkie rocker has inked a deal to publish his personal diaries chronicling his druggie lifestyle and dysfunctional relationship with the supermodel. Editors at Orion Books, which will publish the tome next March, can only hope the Babyshambles frontman will be around to publicize it. He's been arrested numerous times for possession since last year, and is now doing 12 months of community service and undergoing detox.

Meanwhile, Kate Moss canceled her book deal. She had announced in January that she was to write her version of a tell all in her book but has since decided it's not necessary. Smart move Kate.

Could Kate Moss Consider Getting Back With Pete Doherty?

With the rumour mill in overdrive about Kate Moss and Jamie Hince's possible breakup, it was only a matter of time before Pete Doherty reared his head. Pete - who contributed a picture drawn in his own blood for an art gallery auction (shudders) - apparently thinks he's on the verge of winning Kate back by sending her love texts. These late night messages allegedly contributed to the end of Kate's relationship with Jamie, as did Kate's anger about a mystery woman who's been hanging around the singer. All we can do is speculate at this stage, but I'd love to know what your thoughts are on this: could Kate consider getting back with Pete?

Kate Moss stepped out of her house this morning looking ship shape in a stripy jumper and jeans. While Kate almost always looks good, she's also launching her third fragrance - Summer Time - in April, so with all her expertise you know that she probably smells as good as she looks! There's also rumours that Kate's been spotted on the same street in Primrose Hill as her ex Pete Doherty, could it be that those two are sniffing around each other again? Roberto Cavalli has announced that Kate and Pete will separately be fronting his fall women's and men's advertising campaigns. Both were photographed in Ibiza, Spain, but each campaign has a different feel - Kate's is in color and has a safari-explorer theme to it, while Pete's is in black-and-white and has a more timeless feel. The ads are set to debut in July fashion magazines worldwide. And they look very classic Cavalli to me!

Jack Osbourne is evidently claiming that he once kissed Kate Moss at a party and Pete Doherty is not pleased. The now questionably drug-free Babyshambles singer is livid, even going so far as to call Jack bad names. I never thought I'd ever take Pete Doherty's side on anything, but I can understand why he's upset, even if I don't agree with immature name calling, or the clothes he wears, or most anything else he does. Here's more:

Pete [claims] Jack is using the story to promote his autobiography, '21 Years Gone', in which the revelations were made.

Pete fumed: "To use Kate like that, it's just not right. I mean, even if they did kiss before I was with her, it's not right. The t**t is out of order.'

The wild rocker - who is said have kicked his heroin and crack cocaine addictions since Kate gave him the ultimatum, 'It's the drugs or me' - insists the kiss never even happened.

He said: "Kate denied kissing him and that's that. It's just a foolish jibe.'

But seriously, Pete has been high for most of his life. Isn't it just possible that they were too tanked to remember? I mean how memorable can a kiss with Jack Osbourne be? Still Jack shouldn't be kissing and telling. Either way, Pete should relax. It's clear by these pics who Kate really wants to be kissing.

When Pete Doherty Attacks

The sun rose today and that means Pete Doherty was back in court. This time he was fined $1,400 for physically assaulting a journalist earlier in the year. No, it wasn't for the bloody paparazzi brawl from last month. That's a separate incident. Don't the press know by now to leave Pete Doherty alone? He only attacks when provoked! Here's more:

Doherty admitted that he kicked BBC reporter Trudi Barber and knocked a microphone out of her hand before he sprinted away from reporters, jumped into his Jaguar and sped away.

The singer had pleaded innocent to assault, but changed his plea after watching television footage of the incident, his lawyer, Sean Curran, said.

Justice Helen Skinner also ordered Doherty to pay $475 in compensation and $380 in court costs.

Doherty, the on-off boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, appeared in court wearing a black coat and clutching a black trilby hat. He told the court he could not pay the fine Wednesday because he had only 50 cents with him.

He apologized for the incident, but called Barber part of the "harassing scum of press."

Simon Wants "The Kate Factor"

Simon Cowell is ready to give Kate Moss a record deal. The host of American Idol and the UK version, The X Factor, knows a brand when he sees it and Kate is sell-able to him. While Kate and Pete celebrate Vogue's 90th last night, maybe she should be celebrating her other dream of being a singer possibly coming true. Here's more:

SIMON Cowell wants to sign Kate Moss on a huge recording contract - even if she CAN'T sing. But the pop guru has insisted he would not include her boyfriend Pete Doherty in any deal.

The X-Factor star revealed his desire to launch a pop career for the supermodel after she sang with the Babyshambles singer at a recent concert in Dublin. He said: "I would like to offer Kate Moss a recording contract, whether she can sing or not.

"The thing about Kate is that she's a star - it's the 'Kate factor'. People attach themselves to her and instantly become interesting." But he added: "There's no way I would take him [Pete] on. I doubt he'd turn up for anything."

Will this be the final post about Kate and Pete Getting Married in 2006?

It just wouldn't be right to end the year without yet another Kate Moss and Pete Doherty post. The on and off again couple have been a mystery since his latest scandal and her being spotted without her engagement ring. However the latest is that the couple will be married this holiday week in a civil ceremony in London with a celebration to follow in mid-January in Ibiza. Here's more:

Doherty, 27, has invited members of his band, Babyshambles, to witness the ceremony at Fulham Register Office - chosen as the couple's venue because of its proximity to the home ground of the singer's favourite football team, Queens Park Rangers.

One source said: "Both Kate and Pete have invited close friends and family to meet them there on Friday.

"There's been a bit of a tussle over the guest list, which is small because Kate is concerned that some of Pete's hangers-on are bad news, but he's determined to have his mates there."

An extended group of friends and family have also been asked to fly to Ibiza for a lavish celebration of the marriage on January 18.

One friend close to both said: "Kate and Pete will travel out to the island a couple of days ahead of the party, in time for her 33rd birthday on January 16.

As much as I don't want Kate to marry this guy, I am over writing about their wedding rumors so I kind of hope they just do it already. Besides who knows, maybe marriage will help keep Pete out of trouble. Besides, I want to see Kate as a bride already.

Pete Misses His Own Bali Wedding To Kate

Rumors have been spreading rapidly that Kate and Pete are getting ready to tie the knot. Now it sounds like cracked out Pete may have missed out on his own big day. Kate flew her closest friends to Bali last week where many believed a wedding was in the works. But sadly Pete had to stay in London and attend rehab for his recent drug charges. Poor Kate was absolutely devastated. Check out sad Kate in gold in Bali below along with some fabulous pics of her in W. The Gatecrasher reports:

Kate Moss flew 14 close friends, including her brother Nick, to a resort in Bali last week, causing widespread speculation the couple was planning to get married.

But Doherty was detained in London when a judge ruled that he must attend rehab to make bail for cocaine and heroin charges. Doherty pled guilty on Friday and will be confined to London's Priory Clinic each night until sentencing.

Despite the efforts of Moss and her lawyers to find a loophole, the Babyshambles' lead singer won't be making it to Indonesia.

"She is in a terrible state. When she flew to Bali, she was ecstatic and told friends there was going to be a ceremony," a source told Britain's Daily Express.
