Katie Holmes is such a hair chameleon! Sure, we've seen a short crop on her before, but it was sleek and classic. Now her shorter hair is more tousled and less formal. No doubt it's easy for her to take care of cute little Suri with this no-fuss hairstyle, and I'll be interested to see how she works with it for her next red-carpet affair. No doubt that Katie Holmes was the center of attention at the Bambi awards in Germany. When Katie first chopped her locks, people took notice, and I bet this new 'do will create just as much buzz. Every hair is in perfect place, so I can't tell if this might be an excellent wig or if she just has her hair meticulously styled. Either way, it's a striking change. What do you think of it?

Katie Holmes Debuts New Luxurious Long Hair!

Katie Holmes wowed the audience arriving at Tom Cruise's Japan premiere of Valkyrie today with gorgeous long hair! Katie has been wearing her chic short haircut for a little under two years, and it's such a surprise to see her with long locks again. Recently, it appeared that Katie was starting to grow it out again after her shortest look last Fall, but here she looks just fantastic -vibrant and young, smiling like the Katie we fell in love with. While we may miss her mother-daughter matching dos with Suri, the 2-year-old is a bit young for extensions. The Cruises arrived in Japan over the weekend, and we know at least one way Katie has been spending her time. So what do you think - are you loving the return of her long hair?

Stars Mix It Up for the Bambi Awards

Celebs headed to Germany for the 2007 Bambi Awards in Düsseldorf this evening. Katie Holmes' shocking new hair was the excitement of the red carpet, but back to that in a second. Eva Longoria, who accepted the award for Best International TV Series, looked old Hollywood glam. Meanwhile Rihanna decided to get crazy with her streaked hair and leopard print dress. She and Bon Jovi were among the musical acts who performed during the show. Katie was there to support Tom, who was presented with the "courage" award for taking risks with his movies, particularly Valkyrie. We're not quite sure if Katie got a haircut or decided to rock a wig for the event, but either way she is definitely getting style tips from Suri (and Anna Wintour). Bella wants to know what you think about her new look.

Best of 2008: The Cream of the Crop

Alas, the 2008 Sugar Award results are in for best cropped haircut, and in your eyes, Rihanna reigns! The tally wasn't even close, she pulled in a whopping 36% of the votes, with Victoria Beckham in second place and Agyness Deyn in third place.

I love her new style, I appreciate her edginess and I respect her courage to constantly keep cropping away. However, in my opinion, Katie Holmes, someone who I'd never expect to have a hairstyle change of this proportion, looks classy, sophisticated and sexy without appearing matronly or stuck up. For a gal who's had long hair for most of her life, I have to give her top dog kudos for most courageous crop of the year.

Liam And Gene Kick Off

Anyone who thought that Liam Gallagher's new haircut was a bit girly will be eating their words right now (right?!). Liam and his son Gene were spotted out in London giving the paparazzi a piece of their mind by putting on a spectacular display of Kung Fu for them. Pretty impressive! Looks like Liam and Gene have a case of the Katie Holmes / Suri matching haircuts, although I can't imagine Suri swearing quite so viciously at the photographers. Definitely something Gene's picked up from Liam...

Bromance Frenzy At Tropic Thunder Premiere

If there's one movie I'm anticipating the most at the moment it's Tropic Thunder, and the male stars were out in force for last night's LA premiere. The movie promises Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr, Steve Coogan and a career-reviving cameo from Tom Cruise – so, basically, I'm in. There were some great manly bonding moments at the premiere, with Tobey Maguire and Robert greeting each other, Robert nuzzling Ben's shoulder, Jack getting close to Nigel Lythgoe(?!) and The Office co-stars Ed Helms and John Krasinski showed up on a Bromantic date.

While all the manly bonding was going on Ben's wife Christine Taylor laughed with Katie Holmes, before the boys returned to their partners for some photo opps. Also at the premiere Jena Malone (Saved) showed off her new look and haircut, my girl FabUK wants to know if you love it or hate it?

Posh Designs Clothes, Tends To The Goal

Victoria Beckham struck a pose and showed off her wrist tattoo bearing David's initials outside the Four Seasons Restaurant in NYC yesterday. Fresh off the launch of her new clothing line, Extra caught up with Posh to dish about her famous friends and family. Here's more:

On whether the rumors she tested her jeans on friend Jennifer Lopez are true, she says, “I didn’t test my jeans on J Lo. She’s a friend… she’s supported my sunglass line… and she likes them, same as Katie.”

About inspiring Katie Holmes’ new haircut, Beckham comments, “I don’t know… I inspire my friends… my friends inspire me. She’s so strong-minded… she has a great sense of style… I think she looks wonderful.”

Beckham’s secret to staying in shape, she says, “They [kids] stand me in goal and all three of them kick footballs at me…David too… I dive from left to right and that’s kind of about it as far as my fitness regime.”

Posh is definitely a source of fashion inspiration to us, but sometimes even she follows the trends of others, even Mariah. It is hard to envision Posh fending off soccer balls in skinny jeans and stilettos, but perhaps she has a whole closet full of fabulous workout gear she's yet to model for us!

Meet Katie's New Bob

Holy Haircut, Katie Holmes! To be honest, I'm kind of enjoying Katie's new 'do, but she and Tom were looking a little His And Hers Matching Coif-y leaving Cut in LA last night. She just wrapped up shooting Mad Money in Shreveport, and what better way to celebrate getting home to Cali than dinner at their favorite steakhouse. I totally love that she still proudly wears huge heels even though it makes her taller than Tom. It somehow gives me faith that she maintains a modicum of independence.
