How many of you thought Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were crazy for reportedly having their very own ultrasound machine in their home? Well get ready to call the rest of the population nuts because the world's about to get x-ray happy with General Electric's newest gadget. Expectant ladies who want to swoon over their unborn baby will soon be able do so in the luxury of their own home.

Thirty years ago, women were only given ultrasounds in high-risk pregnancies or rare circumstances. In modern day, most pregnant mamas have the chance to view their growing babe at least three times and often much more than that. Antsy pant parents who fret about the fetus may go gaga for the new portable ultrasound device introduced by GE. Reportedly the size of a BlackBerry and inexpensive, the monitor can scan the body as well as if she were sitting in her doctor's office. Now that's not saying the mother-to-be will have a clue what she's looking at, but it may bring comfort and peace of mind to know she sees some black and white flutter action in her abdomen. Do tell, if the price were right, would you buy such a gadget for your expectant days?

Leggings and a long knit tunic will provide the comfort and stretch that a pregnant mama needs to chase after her eldest child. Keep the jewelry simple as tots are prone to tug at elongated necklaces and dangling earrings. Heels may work for Katie Holmes and her crew, but flats will work just fine for this toddler-filled fiesta.

Victoria Beckham Smiles and Gets Tons of Celebrity Praise

Victoria Beckham is taking the world by storm, again. Her new dress line sold out before it even hit the racks and, lucky her, she needs no model or celebrity face other than herself to sell her sexy, sultry, sophisticated brand. This time she's posing on the cover of Harper's Bazaar talking in her usual down to earth way and earning some awesome compliments from Heidi Klum to Marc Jacobs and more. Here are highlights:

On her persona: "I go into hair and makeup, and I turn into 'Victoria Beckham.' I'll try on all my dresses, and I'll pick out a handbag, and I'll put on the shades. I instantly turn into this person, and it sort of feels like a character. And there are so many pictures of it. . . But it's a true character because it's still me. . . If I go to the supermarket looking like sh*t, that affects my work. I am selling an image. Plus, I have fun with it."
On posing: "I have started smiling. I've mastered this smirk; it's a smile that isn't a smile. . . I used to get so nervous, and when I got on the red carpet, I'd freeze up. I've had so many things said about me over the years, like a public bullying. . . The older you get, the more comfortable you become with yourself, and you accept what you have physically. Also, the fact that my business is doing very well" - she smiles - "makes me feel a little more confident, too."
On having another baby: "I'm such a girl's girl. I walk into my closet and go, 'Crikey!' To one day hand that down to another girl ..." But no, she is not pregnant. "You get a little water retention; it's not news. Me, Katie [Holmes], Eva [Longoria], and Kate [Beckinsale] always joke about how one of us is allegedly pregnant, but no, we're just a little bloated today! None of us is pregnant."

On her engagement: "It was a really happy time. We've had a lot of ups and a lot of downs. We've been married for nine years. I love him more now than when I first met him." She pauses. "Back then, there was a certain innocence. I look back and think if only I knew then what I know now. I've toughened up a lot."
On the paparazzi: "I don't complain about paparazzi because I've put myself in that position, and so has David. But I always say to the boys, someone is going to take your picture because you're handsome or you're smart or because you're so good at soccer. But every now and again, Romeo might pick up one of David's cameras and say, 'Victoria, Victoria, over here!' And his attitude is sort of angry."

Tom Cheers on His Ex While More Baby Rumors Surface

Tom Cruise paraded Valkyrie to Rome this morning, one stop closer to that visit with Beckham in Milan he mentioned. During his stop in Madrid yesterday, Tom expressed his Oscar hopes, including, sweetly, a win for his ex Penelope Cruz. His No. 1 woman, Katie Holmes, hasn't joined him for this leg of the trip, but Mrs. Cruise certainly didn't look pregnant when she presented at the SAGs this weekend. There are still rumors, however, that another baby is on the way, which would be fun and not too much of a surprise in 2009.

It's Real People

I am really not sure why I feel the need to defend Katie but this baby is real people. It's not fake - Katie Holmes is definitely pregnant. Now the real question should be is it really Tom's?

I guess I am starting to feel bad for this girl that I used to think had such potential. She was so cute on Dawson's Creek and was even doing a great job with her transition into the movie world. Now she has just become this Stepford wife joke. Where are her people to make her look better in the press. Here's the latest to make Katie look bad. Page Six reports:

WHAT'S up with Katie Holmes? The once vivacious actress is like a "Stepford" wife ever since she hooked up with Tom Cruise and Scientology. During an interview with the expectant parents for Parade, reporter Dotson Rader writes, "Holmes . . . wore a large diamond engagement ring. She seemed dazed, passive and vacant. She never stopped smiling." Holmes continued smiling through the interview as Cruise described how his father beat him, and as Cruise was "hooting how beautiful she was, touching and kissing her like a teenage boy on his first backseat date, aware that he was being watched." Creepy.

Katie Was Heartbroken About Suri Speculation

The big day has come and gone. We have all now had a sneak peak at Suri Cruise (click here in case you missed it). As expected, Katie is rejuvenated after her massage and who knows what else to make her look radiant again. The cameras were all over the Cruise ladies and X17 even has a video where you can watch the craziness that surrounds these women as they leave The Ivy and head to do some baby shopping. Katie reveals in the video that a wedding is coming soon. While she may look happy in these candid photos, she reveals to VF that she was heartbroken about all of the gossip stories that surrounded her baby Suri. Here's more from VF:

"Some of the crap that's out there-the stuff that's said about my parents and my siblings [tabloid accounts implied that Katie's family did not hit it off with Tom]-it's really frustrating the amount of shit that's out there. And the stuff they say about Suri?! You shouldn't say that about us, and you can't say that about my child."

"I was overjoyed in being pregnant," Holmes tells Sarkin, "and then had to withstand ridicule about my pregnancy when it was the most normal, non-controversial thing imaginable." Of speculation in the press, Holmes says, "All those things were invented."

Poor Katie. Tom even reveals that they were never hiding anything. They were always planning on taking family photos with Annie and it was all just about the right timing. Katie's Bump - Let's Do the Math

People reports Katie Holmes was seen getting in a little retail therapy at Barneys in Beverly Hills. The actress is reportedly due "any minute" and while many of you think it seems like Katie has been pregnant for eons, she is on a completely normal schedule. I will try my best to backtrack and clear the air to end any further confusion.

Try to follow me: The couple announced they were pregnant in early October. Since then we have watched the magical mystery bump and even posted the fabulous collage Trent posted. Most celebs wait at least 3-4 months (if not longer) to announce the good news. It is likely that miss Katie got knocked up in mid-June and therefore is due any day now. See for all you ladies who have not been pregnant - I hate to be the one to break it to you - but it's not 9 months - it's more like 10. The doctors count you to 40 weeks (not your actual conception date since most people don't know exactly when this is so they use this standard method that includes a few extra weeks) so while it does seem like a long time the math seems to add up for Katie to be due by the end of this month. This also makes me think Angelina and Gwen are not due until at least June based on when they announced their bumps but I think Angelina was much farther along than Katie when she announced. Looks like last summer was a very loving one.

Madonna and Gucci Host Hollywood's Hot Shots!

Last night Madonna hosted "A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF" in NYC. Everyone from Tom and Katie, Demi and Ashton, Drew and Justin, Heidi, Salma, and of course, her daughter Lourdes (my how they grow up so fast), BFF Gwyneth and old friend Rosie were there to raise money. A very pregnant J Lo went from Marchesa to this (still in heels - crazy) and a newly pregnant Gwen who has not made her official announcement yet hid her baby bump. The a-list event raised $3.7 million and kicked off the opening of the latest Gucci store in NY. Alicia Keys and Rihanna performed and Chris Rock auctioned "off celebrity events, such as aerobics with Madonna and baseball batting practice with Yankee Alex Rodriguez." Madonna looks amazing and part of her glow has got to do with the success of the event.
