Christmas Comes Early to London With Premiere and Lights
Stars of A Christmas Carol Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Bob Hoskins literally lit up London last night at the world premiere of the film, which they combined with turning on the capital's Christmas lights! They were joined by Jenny McCarthy in a Holiday season appropriate red coat, as well as The Saturdays and The X Factor contestants, who were more popular than the film stars! Peaches Geldof, Skins stars Kathryn and Megan Prescott, Kimberley Walsh and Sophie Ellis Bextor were among the celebs that showed up at a central London venue off Carnaby St last night to celebrate the release of a brand new 15th Anniversary Friends boxset featuring all the seasons plus extra features. To promote the release a fully stocked Central Perk coffee shop has opened for a limited time showing off some memorabilia from the show, but you'd better get there quick as it's only open until October 7! Sounds like fun, and the famous Friends fans all looked pretty pleased as they left the launch party last night — will you visit?
Gordon and Tana Get Famous Faces Together To Fundraise
Claridges Hotel was host to a star studded lineup of guests last night as Gordon and Tana Ramsay held a fundraising benefit in London. The couple attracted Prime Minister Gordon Brown to the benefit, along with his wife Sarah, brushing shoulders with musical couple Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Richard Jones. Sarah Ferguson wore basic black to the gathering, while Elizabeth Hurley looked beautiful in a white dress on Arun Nayer's arm.

Ralph Lauren and Richard Branson hosted a party at Kensington Roof Gardens last night celebrating some of the biggest names in tennis. Sisters Venus and Serena Williams were the biggest attraction rocking pieces from Ralph Lauren's Spring '09 collection including sequined harem pants. Richard's daughter Holly was also present in a chic little white dress along with presenter Konnie Huq who wore a floral frock by the American designer.

Last night in Mayfair, British socialites and celebrities such as Tamara Mellon of Jimmy Choo, Yasmin Le Bon and her daughter Amber Le Bon (who happens to be the face of the latest River Island campaign), TV actress Angela Griffin, presenter Konnie Huq and Nicky Clarke's fiancée Kelly Hoppen, gathered to celebrate the launch of Bobbi Brown's latest book called Makeup Manual.
The book, which I've actually had for several weeks now, contains a wealth of advice from the 25 year makeup veteran herself. It offers tips and tricks about tools, skin care and application techniques ranging from how to achieve her signature natural look, to TV, theatre and artsy high glamour makeup.
Kate and Leo Revolutionise London
This weekend Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet were in town for the Revolutionary Road premiere in London's Leicester Square. Hot on the heels of her amazing Golden Globes success and two BAFTA nominations, Kate looked stunning in her skintight black dress as the Titanic twosome posed together on the red carpet. Leo said they'd been actively looking for a project to work on together since their first time teaming up onscreen, but nothing had appealed to them both until this book adaptation.

Following the world premiere of their new film in Australia last month, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman have taken Australia around the world, from New York City to Madrid, and last night they brought Baz Luhrmann's movie to London. The director himself also walked the red carpet in Leicester Square alongside Catherine Martin, and was joined by British celebs like Elton John, David Furnish, Twiggy and Konnie Huq.
