PopSugarUK Meets The New Moon Cast Part One: Taylor, Robert and Kristen On Hot Bodies & Kissing Scenes!

I was lucky enough to meet Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart yesterday at the New Moon press conference ahead of the UK fan event last night. The trio revealed lots of backstage gossip from the set, and opened up about their personal lives too. Taylor talked about his daredevil approach to doing his own stunts, Robert spoke about his music and the differences between working on the Twilight and Harry Potter franchises, and Kristen dealt with questions about her relationship with Rob by talking about getting to a higher level with actors she works with. All that's still to come, but for now read all about how Taylor and Robert got their hot bodies for shirtless scenes, and what Kristen had to say about kissing Robert.

On how Taylor bulked up for New Moon:
Taylor: "Obviously it required a lot of hours in the gym, but I found the most important part for me was the eating process and it was actually the most difficult. I had to double or triple my calorie intake. It was a matter of eating every two hours. And just disgusting things like meat patties, raw almonds, and sweet potatoes."
Kristen: "Sweet potatoes were the grossest, in baggies!" [laughs]
Taylor: "It was definitely a lot of hard work, but worth it."

On how Robert got his hot body for New Moon:
Robert: "It's just natural. [laughs] You get a lot of nipple shots in this film. I was really terrible. I hadn't worked out at all until I saw Taylor at the beginning of the year. And it was quite good for the movie as well, because I did feel incredibly inadequate. It made me feel a little bit emasculated with my pre-pubescent girl's body with A-cups!"
On what it's like to kiss Robert:
Kristen: "It's pretty cool."
Robert: "It's a-mazing!" [laughs]

Robert and Kristen Get Romantic and Heat Up Harper's Bazaar!

Hot, hot, hot! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are looking sexy on the front cover of the American Harper's Bazaar magazine, in a stunning photoshoot by Mark Seliger. The New Moon costars and rumoured couple got up close and personal in the photoshoot, cuddling up, lying down together, and Rob on one knee in front of McQueen-clad Kristen! Rob certainly speaks highly of Kristen in the interview, check out the full article here, here's some extracts:

Kristen on not fitting the Hollywood norm: "People think I'm trying to be rebellious, but that's the last thing I'm doing. But I would hate myself if I tried to satisfy the people who have a problem with the way I speak about myself, so it's okay."
Rob on Kristen and acting: "She's a unique girl. You really don't meet many people like Kristen... [She] doesn't take any slack. She sticks to her guns - and that's difficult to do... I don't really know how to act. I'm kind of guessing everything... even though I can conceptualize stuff, she can actually do it. I can make something so complex and then be like, 'That was pout 27'"
Kristen on Rob: "Rob is more frustrated with [the press attention], but he's 23 and I'm 19. He had a couple more years to be an adult and to be independent, whereas just as I was getting to the age when it's normal to go out by yourself ... But it's boring because this is all I f*cking talk about."

Kristen on her hair: "I think it's ridiculous that you need to look a certain way to be conventionally pretty, but now that my hair's grown out and shaggy, it sort of looks a little funny. I'll admit that."
Rob on Kristen's fast judgment: "She'll decide on someone a lot quicker. She has a lot more self-esteem than I do, so she's like, 'You're an idiot and I don't want to talk to you,' and I'm like, 'I'm an idiot too!' So I'll talk to an idiot for like three days before deciding."

Hot Robert, Kristen, and Taylor Lead the Way at LA Fan Event!

The stars of New Moon gave their fans quite a treat yesterday at the Hot Topic event in Los Angeles. Kristen Stewart looked fantastic in her tight black dress and heels, a far cry from what she was wearing for the press interviews earlier in the day. She and Robert stood next to each other up on the podium and even shared a mic and some smiles. I caught a screening of New Moon last night, and while the real review will have to wait - ahhh! - it really is all about Taylor Lautner, and he carries the role so well. He waved to the fans and showed off those pearly whites. The whole cast participated in press conferences all afternoon, and will be continually on the junket today - we'll be there for one-on-one interviews with Rob, Kristen, Taylor, Chris Weitz, the Cullens, the Wolfpack, and the Volturi - so stay tuned to our Twitter for all the up-to-the-minute details!

Kellan Lutz playfully sunk his teeth into Nikki Reed's neck and Ashley Greene looked perfectly cute as usual. The cast's busy day didn't end there - they stopped by Jimmy Kimmel's studio to tape his show as well. The whole crew has been in tons of magazines to promote the film, but it's so great to see them actually getting out there with those big smiles in front of their biggest fans.

Taylor Lautner's Wet T-Shirt Rolling Stone Cover Debuts

Taylor Lautner has had a busy few months promoting New Moon, and his hard work paid off with their record-breaking opening weekend. His costars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are still doing their thing side-by-side, but Taylor is solo in his latest appearance - he's been on many magazine covers and the latest is December's Rolling Stone. We saw Taylor getting wet and wild on the beach during this photo shoot back in October, and today we get a sneak peek at the the hot shots and video from the magazine. He also opened up about Jacob and Bella's relationship, discussing their love triangle with Edward. Here's more:

On why Bella can't decide who to love: "You know, she's serious with Edward and then she meets best friend Jacob. She gets confused."
On why Jacob can't get behind Bella and Edward's relationship: "If I was Jacob, and I feel like I have lived as him, it gets so annoying. Because she's in the car with you one moment, about ready to kiss you and then leaves with Edward. And then she's back with you, you know?"
On his relationship with Bella after she says 'I love you': "Eclipse was actually my favorite of the series. It's the height of the love triangle. I think it's going to be good."

Robert, Kristen, Taylor and the Whole New Moon Cast Hit the Red Carpet at Their Big LA Premiere!

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were the last New Moon stars to arrive on the red carpet in LA last night, but the crowds were happy to wait for the big three! They all looked fantastic - especially Kristen in her gorgeous Oscar de la Renta and sexy hair, who stopped to talk about how happy she was to be at an event with the fans. She said she doesn't have a favorite of all the hot dresses she's worn while out promoting the movie, but fell in love with this one when she saw it. Robert greeted all the fans with a huge smile, excitedly signing autographs for as many people as he could. He flashed an adorable smile to us when they announced Kristen's arrival right behind him, though the two were spread out and didn't pose on the red carpet together. The signs all over the event were amazing, showing the dedication of the Twilight lovers some of whom camped out for days before the big event.

Jennie Garth accompanied her husband Peter Facinelli, but joked that the scene she was most excited to see was Robert Pattinson shirtless! Always the understanding partner, Peter said that he sees where she's coming from since she's seen him shirtless thousands of times. Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene hit the premiere at almost the same time, meeting up on the red carpet for some interviews - though at one point he stepped on her train, whoops! Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser were excited to see each other and Dakota Fanning stood tall in her sky-high heels. Kristen happily posed with Joan Jett and Dakota after they all worked together on The Runaways. The whole cast was so excited to see so many fans out to support the movie and for it finally to be released this Friday. It's all about New Moon for Robert Pattinson these days, but once the mania goes on hiatus, it'll be time for him to start promoting a project outside the franchise. Remember Me opens in March of next year, and here are the first still photos of Pattinson with costar Emilie de Ravin. Seems a bit weird to see ~~Edward~~ Pattinson cuddling up to someone other than Kristen Stewart, but he still looks pretty hot with his signature hair (skipping the paleface makeup is an added bonus). Rob, Kristen and Taylor Bring New Moon to LA

The whole New Moon gang turned out for the big premiere this evening in LA. Kristen Stewart sparkled in her long gown, while Robert Pattinson looked hot all buttoned up in his suit. She strutted down the red carpet and stopped to pose for photos with Taylor Lautner, while other stars like Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Dakota Fanning made their way inside despite frequent stops to sign autographs for fans. Robert and Kristen Share a Moment on Stage in Munich

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart only had eyes for each other on stage in front of fans during the HVB youth event at the Olympic Hall in Munich today. They were there with Taylor Lautner and Christopher Weitz, promoting New Moon, but it's hard to focus on anyone other than the famous duo. Kristen looked sexy in yet another hot little number, this time by Gucci, while Rob dressed down his suit by sticking with a chest-baring v-neck. This weekend's New York Times has a great article about Kristen, and ICYMI watch our interviews with Taylor, Robert, and Miss Stewart herself. Just think, one week from now we'll all have seen New Moon, or many of us at least, but there are still a few jam-packed days of promotion left for the stars of the movie as they return to the states for their big premiere and the talk show circuit.

Robert, Kristen and Taylor Say Hola to Madrid

It's another day, another country for that New Moon trio Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as they attended a photo call at Villa Magna Hotel in Madrid this afternoon. The gang are now in Spain as part of their European tour, which started in Paris and stopped off in London yesterday. Rob and Taylor kept with their smart casual clothes while Kristen rocked an edgy black outfit. They told me all about their hot bodies and kissing scenes when I met them yesterday, and they're due to answer more questions tonight at a fan event in Madrid which we can watch when it starts at 6pm UK time: check out the video feed after the jump.

The three stars of New Moon were at it again today, this time in Madrid where Kristen Stewart stole the sexy show in her sky high heels and hot black Elizabeth and James dress at the photocall.
