Kylie and Fergie Get Glamorous For Halloween

Kylie Minogue and Fergie entered into the spirit of Halloween at Club 57 in New York at the weekend and got dressed up just like lots of other stars in the US and the UK. Fergie chose Egyptian style as Cleopatra, Marc Jacobs was Robin to his friend's Batman, while Kylie and her man Andres Velencoso went as a couple of mime artists! The pals looked like they were having a fine time, although much has been made of Josh Duhamel's absence, even though his rep has denied rumours he cheated on Fergie with a stripper. Kylie has reason to celebrate this week, as her Agent Provocateur ad, where she rides a bucking bronco wearing lingerie, has been named the best ever celebrity viral ad: check it out after the jump.

Kylie is a Sexy Darling

Is there no end to this woman's talents? Despite a busy touring schedule, and rocking the latest hair trends – singing sensation Kylie Minogue has also found time to launch her fourth fragrance, out at the end of July.

Next week, the scent will be available to buy in the UK – and with hints of woody notes, mixed with florals, it's set to be a sweet treat for Kylie fans.

Called Sexy Darling, I was imagining it to be somewhat aimed at the teen and early twenties market, but apparently the perfume is a maturer, sexier version of the singer's 2006 Darling and 2007 Sweet Darling.

Kylie says she's created the scent for "today’s sexy, self-assured woman who is passionate and playful". Sounds like fun, just like Kylie herself.

There's also a matching Glowing Body Lotion, for Kylie-esque, glistening limbs.

I first heard of M Lab about a year ago on a trip to the States. It launched in 2007 by a company called Milbar Laboratories, who for 25 years have been creating medical grade skincare products for dermatologists and plastic surgeons. The buzz surrounding the brand was that it is a high end, luxury range for mature (over 40) skin, that it wasn't suitable for sensitive skin and that it was created for men.

However, after attending a UK event last week, I learned that my preconceived notions were totally false! With the 12 skews in the collection, M Lab is suitable for men and women of all ages with varying skin types. There are currently two complete anti-aging regimens with one being targeted specifically to oily skin.

The big news, however is that a new spot treatment has just launched. Blemish Control Spot Treatment is sold online and at Harrods exclusively in the UK. It sells for £26 and contains 82% of clinically active ingredients (the highest concentration in any MLAB product).

Although expensive, M Lab is proud to have a cult following which include celebrities like Daniel Craig, Dannii and Kylie Minogue, Elton John, Anna Friel, Simon Cowell and Tom Ford.

I'm currently trying out the products for oily skin and will report back my feeback in a few weeks. In the meantime, I can tell you that I'm already addicted to the spot treatment. Kanye and Kooky Mischa Are Keeping Up With the Couture

The couture fashion parade continued in Paris today, with Mischa Barton back after a quick trip to London to hang with her latest musical man, The Kooks' Luke Pritchard. She was sufficiently recovered from her recent birthday celebrations to join Dita von Teese and Kanye West, I mean Martin Louis the King Jr., at Elie Saab earlier this morning. He later headed over to Givenchy with Anna Wintour before moving on to Jean Paul Gaultier alongside Kylie Minogue. There are only a few more shows for the all-star attendees to check out in France, but the fun continues when the 2009 Fall Fashion Week kicks off in NYC on February 13.

Caring Kylie to Coordinate Fundraiser For Bush Fire Victims

After getting all glam for the BAFTA Awards at the weekend, Kylie Minogue was back to her casual style as she left her home in London yesterday. Following the shocking news of the Australian bush fires, Kylie is reportedly teaming up with Natalie Imbruglia and her sister Dannii to arrange a memorial service and fundraiser in London to pay their respects to the victims.

Kylie will be hosting the Brit Awards next week (make sure you vote in my polls), but before that she'll no doubt be spending a romantic Valentine's Day with her model boyfriend.

More Good News for Kylie as She Returns From Mauritius

Wow, I wish I looked as good as Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia after a long haul flight. The Australian duo arrived at Heathrow Airport yesterday after enjoying a girls' holiday in Mauritius, where they stayed at the five star Shanti Ananda resort. Sounds like a great way for Kylie to finish off a fun February, having won International Female at the Brit Awards and Woman of the Year at the Elle Style Awards earlier in the month. March is looking peachy too, what with her tropical holiday and the news on Sunday that "Wow" has held on to the number five spot in the UK singles chart. Here's hoping the rest of the month is as exciting for our favourite Aussie songstress.

Beauty Glossary: Trout Pout

With the recent news that Keira Knightley has been voted 'best pout' in a poll, beating Kylie Minogue and Victoria Beckham to the top spot, I've been thinking about the downside to plumped-up lips; cruelly dubbed the 'trout pout'.

The term was first used in reference to '90's TV actress Leslie Ash who had collagen lip implants in 2003. The procedure went horribly wrong, giving her an unmistakably swollen and misshapen mouth. The British tabloids termed it a 'trout pout' and the phrase caught on, especially as at this time Lesley was on the box regularly, starring in a series of adverts for Homebase with ex-Men Behaving Badly co-star Neil Morrissey.

Leslie told the BBC at the time that she opted to have the lip implants because she wanted "to maintain a certain image...I know I never really needed it doing in other people's eyes, and that's a great compliment." The actress has since undergone corrective surgery, but to little avail.

While collagen implants have certainly come a long way in the last five years, the risk of 'trout pout' or of any aspects of the procedure going wrong, such as having an unexpected allergic reaction, like Leslie did, are still off putting in many people's minds.

The term is now widely used by the media to refer to any star who has had noticeable implants to increase their pout, particularly when the upper lip is boosted out of proportion to the lower lip. Brittany Murphy and Saffron Burrows have both been accused of having trout pouts, while last month French actress Emmanuelle Beart appeared to have gone over the top in having her lips augmented.
