Rihanna does not want to press charges against Chris Brown for the alleged assault that happened last month, according to police. She said she will not testify against him in court, and prosecutors in Los Angeles will be asked to decide if the case is strong enough to proceed without her testimony. - Telegraph

Kylie Minogue has been popping in and out of her house in London as she rehearses for tonight's big Brit Awards ceremony. She'll be hosting the show with Mathew Horne and James Corden, who are desperate to impress her. FabUK and BellaUK will be bringing you live love it or hate it polls as the stars walk the red carpet, and I'll be hosting a live blog party right here on PopSugarUK, where we can all chat about the performances and the winners. Red carpet coverage starts at 7pm on ITV2, with the show starting on ITV1 at 8pm. I'd love to know if you're going to tune in, so vote below to let me know if you'll be watching the Brit Awards!

Caring Kylie to Coordinate Fundraiser For Bush Fire Victims

After getting all glam for the BAFTA Awards at the weekend, Kylie Minogue was back to her casual style as she left her home in London yesterday. Following the shocking news of the Australian bush fires, Kylie is reportedly teaming up with Natalie Imbruglia and her sister Dannii to arrange a memorial service and fundraiser in London to pay their respects to the victims.

Kylie will be hosting the Brit Awards next week (make sure you vote in my polls), but before that she'll no doubt be spending a romantic Valentine's Day with her model boyfriend.

How To: Kylie's Breezy Beauty

Pop sensation Kylie Minogue rivals Madonna with her penchant for transformation, whether she's showgirl glamorous or demure and ladylike. Beauty wise she always looks gorgeous, partly due to her wide smile but also because of her glowing skin and huge eyes.

Yesterday, Kylie dressed casual but kept her makeup polished for a shopping trip in London, in preparation for the BT Digital Music Awards. Subtle smoky eyes in soft grey, a natural peach blush and warm rose lip colour made for a pretty look that flattered her features.

Here's how to get Kylie's breezy beauty look at home, just read more.

Face: Kylie has great skin but she always seems to wear a base to even out her skintone. Try No7 Instant Radiance Foundation, (£13.25), for glowing skin.
Eyes: Smoky eyes have a sexily sophisticated quality that can work as well for day as for a party, so long as you keep it subtle. It's all about careful blending though and choosing dark grey or navy, as oppose to overly harsh black. First use a wash of pale grey on the eyelids, keeping it light for the smoky effect. Try using a grey eye pencil, such as MAC Eye Kohl, (£11), in Phone Number to line the eyes. Next, go over the liner with Chanel Professional Eyeliner Duo, (£25) in Noire et Marine, using just the navy blue colour and softly blending with the brush.
Cheeks: Kylie has opted for a peachy pink blush on the apples of her cheeks for a healthy flush. Use Becca Lip & Cheek Creme, (£22), in Tuberose and dot onto the cheeks. Take the colour slightly up to the cheekbones for a more contoured effect.
Lips: For a naturally polished effect ignore the catwalk and shun deep red or pale nude lipstick. Instead go for a flattering pinky-peach that suits your skin tone. Use the cheek and lip creme to match up the colour, but try layering it on top of a lipstick for a dewy effect. I like Max Factor Colour Collections Lipstick, (£7.99), in English Rose.

Pint-sized popstress Kylie Minogue has always been an inspiration to hair colour chameleons like myself.

I loved her brunette, red and all the various shades of blonde, and now she's gone for a glossy, bouncy, expensive-looking pale honey colour. It's very Park Avenue princess.

After showing off toned down highlights plus dark roots a few days ago and prompting The Mirror to celebrate her going all "dark and sophisticated", Kylie is now showing her sunny side again.

Kylie Cuts A Cute Figure With Scissor Sisters' Jake

Having completed her mammoth tour a few weeks ago, Kylie Minogue is making the most of her free time by dining at Nobu with Scissor Sisters' frontman Jake. The petite singer isn't putting KYLIEX2008 to rest just yet though, announcing she will be taking the show to South America. She's also taking it to Australia and New Zealand in December, saying it's "a real thrill to finally be bringing it home". Perfectionist Kylie has also spoken out about her disappointment with latest album, X, saying: "In retrospect we could definitely have bettered it". Don't be too hard on yourself Kylie - your sister may have the X Factor but you've still got the "wow" factor.

Steve, Davina and Kylie Kick Off 4Music

I love these pics of Steve Jones, they make me laugh. But why is he dressed as a builder? Well, tonight 4Music launches as a spangly new channel, featuring music shows, exclusives, festival coverage (V is featured this weekend) and artist interviews alongside the usual fare of vids and countdowns. Tonight lovely Steve and Davina McCall will kick off proceedings with their 20 Big Ones which sees Steve dressing up as a "camp builder" – a male version of those under-dressed women in Benny Benassi’s "Satisfaction" vid. Nice. Here's what Steve and Davina had to say about the launch:

Can you describe your opening show on 4Music?
Steve: "Think of Steve and Davina’s Big Ones as two hours of music labour where at the end where we give birth to Kylie Minogue (in concert – the world exclusive of KYLIEX2008 at 9pm). But without the pain."
What’s it like working with each other again (after last year's Big Brother special)?
Steve: "For me and Davina to present the first show... it’s a true honour. I love working with Davina and really enjoy being on screen with her."
Davina: "I love Steve! He make it so easy and we’ve just got a very good rapport, the more I work with him the better it gets. I do hope I get to work with him again."

What is it about 4Music that you’re looking forward to?
Davina: "The live coverage of gigs. I don't get to many gigs with three kids! I really miss the live aspect."
How do you feel to be hosting the first ever show on the channel?
Steve: "I couldn’t be more honoured to present the first ever show on 4Music. The future is very bright for 4Music, so why shouldn’t it have its own channel?"
Davina: "Its brilliant ...a real honour. I started my career on a music television channel so it felt rather good and to be the first people on the channel is pretty exciting. I am totally passionate about music and couldn't live without it, so thank you 4Music!"

Here's the launch night schedule (on Sky 360, Virgin 330 and Freeview 18):

7pm - Steve and Davina's 20 Big Ones – twenty big hits from the biggest stars to celebrate the launch.
9pm - World exclusive footage of Kylie Minogue's KYLIEX2008 concert at the O2. This will include all her hits and backstage footage.
1110pm – Live action direct from the Big Brother house.
1.10am – Repeat of Steve and Davina’s 20 Big Ones for those who have been out partying.
3am – 4Music Floorfillers, an eclectic mix of upbeat party tunes.
This weekend there will be exclusive live coverage of the V Festival with headline sets from The Verve and Muse. This will be followed by coverage of Bestival, featuring Amy Winehouse headlining. In September, 4Music will be teaming up with Vodafone Live Music Awards to celebrate live music in a star studded ceremony.
Other series that will appear will include Live from Abbey Road, 4Music Presents, T-Mobile Transmission and Shockwaves Album Chart Show. Concerts will include Kylie, Jay-Z in New York, N.E.R.D., McFly and The Streets. Highlights from The Sunday Night Projectand musical Star Stories will also be shown. Phew!
