Last Summer Lindsay Lohan was hard at work on her new movie Labor Pains in which her character pretended to be pregnant. The studio rushed out the trailer when people were still talking about it, but something went wrong between there and the big screen. Today, the news came out that the movie will air on ABC Family on July 9 before hitting DVD a month later.

Lindsay hasn't been shy about talking about her struggling career recently, and this is just another blow to the troubled starlet. We thought this would be her comedic return to the big screen, but apparently we'll have to tune in this Summer to see it. So what do you think - are you surprised Labor Pains is going straight to TV?

Lindsay Lohan's Labor-Filled Weekend

Lindsay Lohan was hard at work on Labor Pains over the weekend, and it looks like she still had her hands full with multiple costume changes. Although it was a work night, Lindsay was able to fit a little fun into her busy schedule on Saturday with a visit from Samantha Ronson. The girls also went out with a friend for a sushi dinner at Matsuhisa this weekend. Between the long days on set and laid back dinners, LL continues to prove she can be a responsible starlet.

The Hills and Living Lohan Worlds Collide

Lindsay Lohan and her leggings were back to work on the set of Labor Pains in LA yesterday. In the midst of her big birthday weekend she also found time to celebrate Fourth of July. LL spent the holiday at the DKNY house in Malibu, but rather than rub elbows with the ladies of The Hills, she kept to herself and texted the day away. Her mother and sister were also there shooting Living Lohan, where Lindsay may be making a cameo after all. Sounds like a full house of reality TV filming, but we'll have to wait until the shows air to catch if there's any crossover.

Lindsay Lohan turns 22 today and yesterday she geared up for her birthday as responsibly as she knows how - with another day on the set of Labor Pains. Today she took the day off, treating herself to a shopping spree at Cartier with Samantha. We'll still have to wait and see what happens at her birthday party at Teddy's tonight, but we're hoping LL is finally ready to leave her troublesome nights behind for good. She's also got plenty of other things on her mind these days - besides the stories about her illegitimate half sister trying to become a singer herself, Lindsay is rumored to be teaming up for a duet with Lily Allen for Lily's new album.

Lindsay Lohan looked pretty working on Labor Pains in LA yesterday. Between her days hard at work and weekends and evenings spent with Samantha, LL seems to have found a pretty good routine recently. She doesn't even seem to have let the latest scandal of a possible new sister break her stride. We haven't even heard much out of LL since the rumor she was trying to get a sponsor for her big 22nd birthday bash and considering the big day is tomorrow it doesn't seem like she's got anything too crazy planned. Of course, we never know when it comes to Lindsay (she's a bit unpredictable, of course), but at the very least she's come a long way since spending her 21st teetering between DUIs and stints in rehab.

As expected, Lindsay Lohan got to work on Labor Pains in LA today, and she didn't even have to change out of her leggings. She managed to avoid rocking a fake baby bump for her first day, but she did continue her streak of showing skin whenever possible with her off-the-shoulder top. We're excited to get a preview of what an LL baby bump looks like - just as long as she's not actually joining the ranks of the rest of pregnant celebs in Hollywood yet.

Even without Samantha by her side, it was another smiley day for Lindsay Lohan on the set of Labor Pains yesterday. She's been dedicated to her new film since the beginning of the Summer, but it won't be long before she has to jet to the East Coast to film her scenes for the next season of Ugly Betty. We're excited to see her return to the show for longer than the blink-and-you'll-miss-it tease in the season finale, but in the meantime we've got her maybe appearance on Living Lohan to look forward to and her legging line, which is now on sale!
