I love Demetri Martin's bit about how adding the word "ladies" to the end of a sentence automatically makes you sound like a creep. I admit, the word "ladies" often makes me cringe, though some of my guy friends seem to think it's classy. I guess it's better than referring to a group of women as "girls" or "my b*tches!"

Anyone who's ever been to San Francisco, or watched the opening credits of Full House, is probably familiar with the city's famous Painted Ladies, situated on a block bordering Alamo Square Park known as Postcard Row. The group of colorfully-painted Victorian homes was built between 1892 and 1896 by developer Matthew Kavanaugh, who built a bigger, slightly different Victorian mansion for himself next door on the corner that anchors the block.
The 4,692-square-foot, five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home, called the Shannon-Kavanaugh House, is now on the market for $4 million, after being available for rental for parties and other events.

What makes the Grammy Awards such an exciting red carpet is all of the out-of-the-box hair and makeup styles that we see. Instead of playing it safe, stars really push the envelope. There was a lot of pink lipstick, smoky eyes and tanned skin at this year's show, but I couldn't get over all of the heavy, filled in brows!

Well it wouldn't be Lady Gaga if she wasn't trying something different. Tonight she wore her hair long with vibrant shades of yellow underneath a truer shade of blond. If you hone in on her hairline, it looks like a wig, but there might be some real hair poking through, too.
