Most stars have a signature style. You know, when you look at an item and automatically think of a specific person. That's what happened when I saw this military-style jacket - the first thing that popped into my head was, I can totally see it on Beyonce. It reminded me of her Alexander McQueen velvet band vest. Oh say can you see Diane looking amazing?! This girl has style that keeps on giving. Last night, she looked flawless at the Courage in Journalism Awards in Beverly Hills. Her silver strapless J. Mendel dress has the right amount of pouf and her Lanvin clutch just enough wildness. A delicate rhinestone necklace, layered bracelets, and ankle-strap black sandals make Diane even more divine.

I never tire of boutique parties. There's always amazing eye candy, yummy apps, and irresistible bubbly involved. A couple weeks ago, I attended an Armani party. The SF store had a special retrospective on gowns worn at awards shows and red carpet events - 'twas amazing. Fab Finding Follow-Up: Fabric Hunting

I recently gushed how cool it is my mom is getting back into sewing. She already knits me amazing scarves, hats, and ponchos, but now she can make me clothes. And costumes! Her first project is my Halloween costume (stay tuned on more details pertaining to that). Last week we went to some fabric stores to look for faboo fabrics. In an ideal world, I'd be carrying this Lanvin Amalia Quilted Tote ($1,475). It's nice and roomie for all my patterns and sewing stuff. Let's see what you found for me . . .

French actress Audrey Tatou has it real good these days - she got to play the legendary Coco Chanel, and now she's traveling the globe promoting the movie in the chicest ensembles. Starting in Madrid then Rome, Tokyo to Los Angeles, and finally in NYC, the actress has attended red-carpet premieres clad in everything from Chanel to Lanvin to Miu Miu. Her overall vibe has been minimalist-cum-girlie, with the black and white Chanel Fall '09 couture frock being the fanciest. All of them are flawless but which is most Fab?

Melissa George in Gold Lanvin: Love It or Hate It?

Melissa Geroge revealed her avant-garde side at the premiere of her psychological thriller, Triangle, in London wearing a shimmering gold dress and decadent baubles - all by Lanvin. Indeed, Melissa is beyond gorgeous and so is her Lanvin frock, but there's something about the two together that don't mesh. Maybe it's the longer hemline and the fact that she's wearing black tights in August? Tell me what you think!

We've been experiencing shoulder love for a couple seasons now and we agree shoulder pads are debatable. But for Fall, designers flounced and fluffed fabrics on all sorts of terrain. Front and center on a frock, cascading down a train, at the hip(s), along a hemline, and yes, on shoulders.
