Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner kicked off the world wide press tour for New Moon on Tuesday in Paris. Kristen arrived in a girly, flesh-toned dress with her hair styled all down and parted in the centre. The following day in London, she wore her hair up, and last night at a fan event in Madrid, her hairstyle was more rocker looking with her fringe parted on the opposite side, and her layers less wispy.

In the '90s, one hairstyle reigned supreme: the Rachel. When Jennifer Aniston debuted this layered bob for Friends, it seemed like half the women in America followed suit. It truly is the era's iconic haircut.

Years ago, when hair expert Keneesha Hudson allowed her curly locks to go natural, it proved to be a positive experience. "I feel a great sense of freedom wearing my own hair," she told me. "It definitely has a much more organic feel to it.

As owner of Atlanta's Urbanbella salon and apothecary-style store, Keneesha Hudson has learned a thing or two about hair — particularly when it comes to kinky, curly, and wavy textures. That's why I consulted with the leading expert in the category on how to tame those unruly curls; and now, I have more of her helpful tips. We've all had times when we've woken up after a particularly fun night, when the raccoon look is in full effect. Smudgy mascara happens, and unless you're intentionally applying face paint under your eyes to shield out the sun during your Saturday morning flag football games, I don't know many people who appreciate mascara gone south. The “presiding grande dame of West Coast interior design,” Kelly Wearstler, is featured in a six-page profile in the Sept. 14 issue of The New Yorker.

In an attempt to offer a new twist in the haircare market, HerCut, a line of products tailored to the form and shape of your actual haircut, launches online today. Earlier, most of you said you'd at least give it a try, but as expected, there were some rumblings about whether or not these products could actually work, as they eschew something rather important when it comes to your hairstyle — its texture.
HerCut offers five styling "Catalysts" ($22 each) that pump out a cream on one side and a gel on the other, to complement the foundation of the haircut (think multichambered toothpaste dispensers).

Recently, various stars have been stepping out with blond-streaked bangs, including beauty chameleon Rihanna. While hanging out in New York last night, she showed off some chunky highlights poking out from under her hairline. If you're looking for a bit of a change without the commitment, a pop of color under the fringe just might be the way to go.

Bee Shaffer definitely got the style gene from her mother, the infamous Vogue editor Anna Wintour. At the premiere of The September Issue, her pitch-perfect hair and makeup were accentuated by her subtle, sexy smoky eye.
The secret to this sophisticated look is the unconventional shades used.

Ciara arrived at the TXT L8TER event in Hollywood the other night looking like a modern-day Audrey Hepburn. I've always been in awe of her long, super-shiny hair, but I'm really coveting this new cut, which is actually — scoop! — a perfectly shaped hair piece (no worries, you can do this with your own hair, too).
