I have to confess that I've always had a bit of a girl crush on Alice Cullen's bobbed and flippy hairstyle in Twilight. Ashley Greene, however, the actress who plays the stylish, friendly vampire in the series, has been sporting a longer, less feathered layered bob in real life, and she sure has the chic look down pat. However, now that Eclipse is pretty much wrapping up, the actress is back to her long roots, as she debuted new extensions at the U2 concert in Pasadena yesterday, courtesy of Parlour on 3rd's Essly Powell, who worked with Ashley for nine hours to achieve this new look.

In an attempt to offer a new twist in the haircare market, HerCut, a line of products tailored to the form and shape of your actual haircut, launches online today. Earlier, most of you said you'd at least give it a try, but as expected, there were some rumblings about whether or not these products could actually work, as they eschew something rather important when it comes to your hairstyle — its texture.
HerCut offers five styling "Catalysts" ($22 each) that pump out a cream on one side and a gel on the other, to complement the foundation of the haircut (think multichambered toothpaste dispensers).

Ciara arrived at the TXT L8TER event in Hollywood the other night looking like a modern-day Audrey Hepburn. I've always been in awe of her long, super-shiny hair, but I'm really coveting this new cut, which is actually — scoop! — a perfectly shaped hair piece (no worries, you can do this with your own hair, too).

Over the past few months, Solange Knowles has been playing around with various hairstyles. She went from sleek, straight and all one length in April, to cutting long, face framing layers and angled side-swept fringe in early July. Then, yesterday, we saw her at Dita Von Teese's "Cointreau Teese" party in Hollywood with short, fashion forward looking blunt-cut fringe.

Michelle Williams is currently residing in London to play the part of Roxie Hart in the theatre production of Chicago. On the left, we see her most recently with a classic Louise Brooks bob, the signature cut for the part, in the center her hair is shorter on one side than on the other and a few months ago she was pictured at MTV in New York with long, layered and two-toned hair. Out of these three hairstyles which do you like the most on Michelle?

Last week, during some preparty primping, I felt like my nighttime makeup application was getting heavier and heavier with each stroke of the brush. As I walked out the door, I thought perhaps I should wipe it down a bit, but I ended up rolling with it. After seeing the pictures from the party the next day, it hardly looked like I had much of anything on my face, let alone layers of darker-toned makeup.

It's true that models need to keep up their appearances, but Kate Moss has made so many trips to the salon recently it's hard to stay current on her hairstyle! It looks like the British beauty has yet again trimmed her tresses for the Mummy Rocks charity event last night, going with heavy layering around her crown and an edgy dark dye underneath (anyone else care to assume that this influence came from her badass rocker man Jamie Hince?) How do you feel about Kate's new cut and colour?

This past weekend, I had a pretty bum hair day. I'm trying to let some layers grow out, and the rainy San Francisco weather provided me with a dreaded hairstyle problem. A little bobby pin action, some hairspray, and a flat iron provided the solution.

That Lily Allen never gets complacent with her hairstyle. Bored with her long locks, she arrived in Paris yesterday to attend the Chanel Ready To Wear Autumn 2009 Show with a fresh new haircut. The singer chopped off her long silky hair into lots of short layers and fringe at a Notting Hill salon just two days ago.
