LeAnn Rimes Has Psoriasis - What Is It?

LeAnn Rimes has no problem belting out songs in public, but she's been hiding a secret. At age two, LeAnn was diagnosed with the chronic autoimmune disease known as psoriasis. The condition is characterized by reddish, thick, and flaky skin with silver-white patches. This common condition can appear suddenly or slowly and flares up repeatedly over time. It's not contagious but can be hereditary.

Poor LeAnn was tormented by her peers. She recently told Health, "Kids didn't want to hang out with me or touch me. I remember being called 'Scaly Girl,' and never ever wanting to go out in a bathing suit."

LeAnn hasn't had a flare up in five years since she's made some changes. She said, "I found great medication and a great doctor and began really living a healthy lifestyle." She even felt confident enough to show off her skin in a bikini on the March of Fitness magazine. She said, "To feel vibrant, to feel like a woman, to want to show off that I have clear skin, it's the happiest day of my life." This week's cover of Us Weekly has the story that LeAnn Rimes has been cheating on her husband of seven years, Dean Sheremet. Apparently LeAnn has been having an affair with Eddie Cibrian, who she's been working with on an upcoming TV movie. LeAnn posted a message on her official website asking her fans to have faith and understand that "not everything in our lives is always black and white," while Dean simply Tweeted "I love my wife!!" After Video Evidence Emerges, Should LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Admit To Affair?

Yesterday, Us Weekly released an explosive new cover story claiming that LeAnn Rimes is having an affair with Eddie Cibrian. You all were pretty split on whether you were surprised by the rumors. LeAnn issued a vague non-denial, and her husband expressed his love for her via Twitter. Eddie, on the other hand, flat-out denied the affair. Now, Us has released the full video of the two out on a date where they are seen kissing multiple times and holding hands. The magazine also claims to have more photographic evidence and the signed receipt from dinner. Yesterday's screenshot was one thing, but this seems like much more damning evidence. So what do you think - should LeAnn and Eddie admit to having an affair?

It looks like LeAnn Rimes hair stylist could have reached for Bumble and bumble's Surf Spray to create her sexy, beach-y waves. It's the perfect style to complement her gently sun-kissed tan. And though it seems a little more pretty than rock-and-roll chic, LeAnn pulls it off. Her makeup is just as simple and lovely. She wears a pale pink lip with barely there cheeks and a little blue and gold shimmer at the eyes. But my favorite thing? Her bold eyebrows. What do you think of LeAnn's look?

How-To: LeAnn Rimes' CMT Awards Makeup

Last night at the 2008 Country Music Television Awards, LeAnn Rimes looked like she could have been walking down the red carpet in the 1940s.

Old Hollywood glamour never goes out of style and I am happy to see this singer taking some beauty risks. I love the hair, I love the lips, her skin is perfect, but those brows are just a tad unruly and dark.

FACE: LeAnn's skin is naturally pale with a hint of pink undertones. Begin with a clean face that is well moisturized. Then, add a green-tinted concealer to any visible red spots so that you don't draw attention to them. Next, blend a bisque-colored foundation into your face and neck. Finally, add concealer under your eyes and to any areas that are still pinkish.
CHEEKS: Dust a deep-pink blush such as Dessert Rose by MAC to the apples of your cheeks and blend outwards. Do not overdo the blush. Remember, you are skipping bronzer, so too much blush will just make you look like a clown. Next, dust a loose powder (it should match your foundation) over your entire face, paying close attention to your t-zone.
EYES: Begin by sweeping a bone-colored shadow all over your lid. Then use a golden-bronze shimmery shade like Honesty by MAC just above your lash line and blend it into the crease. Line your upper lashes with black liquid liner, add a few false lashes to the corners of your eyes and then finish with two coats of mascara. For your brows, be sure to fill them in so that they are slightly darker than your hair, but remember to blend well. Tip: Dab a tiny bit of ice-colored highlighter in the inner v of your eyes for a little extra sparkle.
LIPS: Since lips are the focal point of this look, it's important to find the best possible shade to suit your skin tone. It looks to me like LeAnn applied a slightly orange creamy color like Rouge Dior Replenishing Lipcolor in Action Red and then applied a golden or transparent gloss on top.

LeAnn Rimes Gets Her Own Cereal Box

Looks like country music diva Leann Rimes is partnering with Kellogg's and the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes to raise funds for wounded and disabled veterans of the war in Iraq. Yesterday she unveiled her specially marked boxes of Kellogg's Corn Flakes that will help raise money for the coalition. The boxes, which show an image of Rimes, will each contain a code for an exclusive music download. However, in order to download the song you'll have to make a minimum $1 donation to the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes. The boxes hit shelves soon and the download begins on April 25.

CMA Awards: LeAnn Rimes

What a coincidence! I was just saying how much I love blondes in green and another blonde, LeAnn Rimes, showed up to an event at the Children's Museum of Manhattan in a green dress by Erotokritos. The jeweled neckline and pleat detailing make the dress a standout. I love her fusion of a very feminine dress with masculine patent lace up pumps. Oh, and Paris, this is how opaque tights are done.

Love It or Hate It? LeAnn Rimes' CMA Look

It's been so long since LeAnn Rimes first burst onto the country scene, but at the Country Music Awards, she showed that she's no longer a teenage crooner. She's all grown up, wearing soft hues (I can't wait to see what Fab thinks about that dress) and lovely curls. Not to be nitpicky, but I would love to see her brows just a shade lighter--but really, with that kind of smile, I'm sure nobody's looking at her brows.
