I've been wanting to wear a pair of suede leggings I recently bought, but the decadent textile makes it hard to dress down. That is, until I saw Emiliebirkin's killer combo. Her leather and denim emotes a casual, sexy appeal. It's ideal for daytime dressing and I like how she accessorized with a belt and Louis Vuitton bag for extra flair.

While David picked a pinstripe suit, Victoria put on Antonio Berardi leather legging-style boots. To maintain her signature posh quality, she finished the look off with a fitted gray boatneck mini dress. What do you think? Victoria Beckham stepped out in LA yesterday with her sons to treat them to some frozen yoghurt (yum). Whilst still rocking her new wavy hairstyle, Victoria also seems to be debuting a slightly more relaxed style teaming a loose tee with panel leggings.

I have seen these leggings all over the High Street recently, and they're particularly flattering in a dark shade. The panels are either in a different colour or in a different fabric like at Gareth Pugh where leather inserts add edge (£530). Urban Outfitters have a more affordable take on the look with their sequin panelled leggings (£38).

Can't seem to find the gusto to don a leather dress? Look to Kate Moss and Carine Roitfeld for inspiration. No doubt, the two are working it in their identical long-sleeve leather dresses. Kate Moss added some rockability to the high-neck cut by accessorizing with sexy bare legs, a studded belt, and pointy-toe pumps. In comparison, the French Vogue editor covered her stems with sexy, sheer black tights and tough, suede ankle boots. Notice how Moss tossed her hair up, while Carine kept hers down. Tell me, which leather lovin' lady do you prefer?

For me, Autumn/Winter is all about luxurious fabrics. They're usually thicker, great for keeping warm and instantly make your outfit look more expensive! This season designers have been mixing up the various textures including leather, velvet and suede.

Leggings are still very much a wardrobe staple and have taken on the new season fabrics. I have noticed a lot of velvet styles on offer and couldn't resist sharing them with you. The great news is that you don't have to spend a lot to indulge in this trend. There are plenty of pairs on the High Street including Topshop (£22), New Look (£14) and Dorothy Perkins (£18). My new favorite kind of boot is the over-the-knee. I look forward to chilly weather so that I can bust them out and spice my legs up with them. But here's the thing: the right pair can make you look chic, the wrong, not so. You'll know when looking at it which category it falls in. I already own a black leather flat one, but would love to add a luxurious suede heeled style to my collection. During my hunt, I came across dozens of unique boots that I would make mine, wallet permitting. And these Stella McCartney Thigh-High Faux Leather Boots ($1,385), which the designer herself owns, are the over-the-knee Holy Grail. More than boots, they're like buying a pair of hot leather legs!
