Yesterday we discussed Kristen's life aquatic in Proenza Schouler - I'm surprised more of you didn't love it. I thought it was youthful and unique. The Luna Nueva star stopped in Madrid in her favorite vampy color. Black. But she mixed her sheer top, black-bustier Elizabeth and James mini dress with blood-red pumps. Girl's got some stems, albeit pale ones, but that's the way Edward likes them. Do you like?

There was a lot of leather on the catwalks for Autumn 2009, and now the trend has landed on the High Street. From leather trousers, to leggings to jackets, you can't escape the fabric and it's sure to give your outfit a rock chick feel.

I have noticed a number of leather blazers on offer, which would look great with skinny jeans and boots. It's also a slightly more flattering alternative to the bomber style. For a cheaper take on the trend, opt for fake leather. Will you be wearing a leather blazer this Autumn?

Congratulations red leather and relatives, you are officially noncheesy anymore. Berry-stained leather, as exhibited by the ravenous Rachel Weisz in Spain, is utterly appetizing. Of course, a lot depends on the accompaniments. Weisz smartly wore her smooth berry leather jacket with an adorable blue floral dress - both Marc Jacobs Resort - and killer black Barbara Bui suede sandals; she did no wrong. Keeping things feminine and unique will let your raspberry, blueberry, or tayberry piece pop.

Trend Alert: Leather Dress

Last week, Angelina Jolie impressed most of you as she stepped out on the red carpet in a tight fitting Michael Kors leather dress. The style is sure to be popular this Autumn as leather dresses and skirts look likely to become key party items.

You can pick up great leather items in vintage stores, but getting the right fit can be challenging so I have rounded up some great alternatives. Firstly, Oasis is embracing this style of frock with a panel shift dress (£125). This is the perfect go to party dress that will see you through the winter season. Try adding colour with accessories and tights to change the look each time.

If you've got a bigger budget, Miu Miu have a very structured take on the trend (£1,390). I would wear this with a blazer or tuxedo jacket and killer heels.

Love it or Hate it: Rihanna's Leather Number

Rihanna was out and about in New York yesterday as she shopped and partied in this tight fitting asymmetric leather number. Angelina got in major sexy mode last night at the Inglourious Basterds premiere in LA. Despite the fact that she stuck to her signature color, black, she knocked it out of the ballpark with her strapless leather Michael Kors dress. If you recall, Angelina's stylist Jen Rade once told me she puts the actress in black because it allows her strong features to shine. The strappy black Christian Dior sandals and red cocktail ring keep her chic, not biker-chick. But of course, her best accessory is Brad in an all-black (Tom Ford?) suit. Damn.
