Although most of you were into her sound, you were totally split on her steamy video and thought her sexy photo shoot was too much. Sarah Harding celebrated her birthday over the weekend with a party at her night spot, Kanaloa. She wore a Spring 2009 Preen dress to the party, which we saw much earlier in the year on Leighton Meester at a Nylon party. Leighton wore hers with strappy sandals whilst Sarah went for slightly chunkier heels and a gold clutch. Out of these two lovely ladies, which do you think wore it better?

Leighton Meester joined Chace Crawford, Blake Lively and Ed Westwick yesterday on the NYC set of Gossip Girl. Unlike her edgier performance look at Tuesday's American Eagle party, Leighton kept things prim and proper as she got into character as Blair Waldorf. You guys aren't quite sure what to make of Leighton's tendencies to strip down when she goes into musical mode, but she's not the only Upper East Sider who likes to show a bit of skin.

Gossip Girl Gang Keep Their Clothes on For Filming

The Gossip Girl gang were out on the streets on New York yesterday filming. Blake Lively wore bright blue trousers, while Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick were wrapped up warm in big grey coats. Leighton Meester toned down her eye-catching makeup from this week's American Eagle party as she transformed back into Blair, but she's still making headlines by stripping down for American GQ. The show itself made headlines because of a controversial plot, but Jessica Szohr has defended it saying it was fun to film and tastefully done.

Leighton, Ashlee and Jessica Show Their American Eagle Pride

A handful of starlets hit the red carpet last night to celebrate the grand opening of America Eagle's new flagship store in NYC. The Gossip Girl crowd was well-represented, with Leighton Meester cozying up to Michelle Trachtenberg and Jessica Szohr. Adrian Grenier, Pete Wentz, and Ashlee Simpson were also out to browse the offerings at the new space in Times Square. Ashlee was able to see Pete man the DJ booth between rehearsals for Chicago, and her sister Jessica is getting "chillibumps" just thinking about Ash's Broadway debut.

Pete wasn't the evening's only entertainment - Leighton Meester donned a pair of kaleidoscopic leggings to perform four songs, including her single, "Somebody to Love." You guys aren't sure what to make of Leighton's racier styles, but she really threw her all into the performance. Good things seem to be happening for American Eagle, and it looks like they've already recruited more than a few famous fans.

Leighton Meester shows off her racy side for the upcoming December issue of GQ, though exclusive video of her shoot will be online Friday before the issue hits newsstands on November 24. We've seen Leighton go scantily clad for her latest music video, but it's still a jolt to see the same actress who plays buttoned-up Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl looking so different. Leighton may understandably be trying to change her image as she embarks on a solo singing career, but tell us what you think - is this super sexy or too much?

A handful of those Gossip Girl cast were out at an American Eagle event in New York's Times Square last night. Leighton Meester was wearing a daring dress and some striking makeup - what do you think? - and she hung out with Michelle Trachtenberg who showed off her flawless pale skin with her hair pulled back! Jessica Szhor looked great in grey, and Leighton's man Sebastian Stan wore a scarf to ward off the chilly weather - perhaps he gave it to Leighton later in the evening! Other guests included Pete Wentz and Adrian Grenier.

Last night at the American Eagle Outfitters flagship store preview party in New York City, Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester really played up her new rockstar style wearing cherry red lipstick paired with a mix of metallic gold and smoky purple eye shadow. This is an updated version of a popular red and purple trend from the 1980's, and it totally oozes too cool for school - even for high society institutions like Constance or NYU!
