Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were back at work on the set of Inception yesterday, this time in LA rather than abroad in Paris or London. The movie is clearly still in the works, but the early buzz and immediate teaser trailer already have people anticipating the release next year. Joseph is enjoying some success this season thanks to 500 Days of Summer while Ellen Page's Whip It! will be out next month. The trio are all taking on something new with this film, though Ellen and Joseph could be reassured knowing that Leonardo has found some great success with action thrillers in the past.

Leo and Ellen Focus On Filming Inception In France

Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page were spotted in Paris this week filming Christopher Nolan's new film Inception in which the two star alongside Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Tom Hardy and more. We spotted Leo out and about in London for the movie last month, and at the beginning of August we spotted him on the beach with friends as he took a break from filming. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product when the movie comes out in 2010 - the cast is absolutely fantastic - are you?

Leonardo's Shutter Island Pushed Back as He Juggles Projects

Leonardo DiCaprio loosened up his collar on the Paris set of Inception Thursday, looking happy after his long week of work. He's focused on his current project, but Leo's also dealing with his future and past films - Shutter Island's release has been pushed back from October to next February. Also, his production company just signed Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke to get behind the camera on their upcoming The Girl With the Red Riding Hood. The remake of the classic story will also feature an angsty teenage love story, which sounds like familiar territory for Catherine.

Leonardo DiCaprio was back on the Paris set of Inception today with Ellen Page, filming a picturesque scene at a cafe that was apparently interrupted by some violence. It was a stark contrast to his work yesterday, which involved a whole lot of kissing Marion Cotillard. Their loved-up afternoon was a little closer to real life for Leo, after his weekend of partying with models in St. Tropez. He was able to enjoy a good few weeks in the South of France, where his leisurely yacht outings should leave him enough energy to tackle this next project.

The past few weeks Ellen's been spending most of her time out promoting Whip It! with Drew Barrymore, which unfortunately had a rough opening weekend at the box office. Her latest project with Leo, however, continues to create buzz, and it's been announced that the Christopher Nolan movie will be released in IMAX when it hits theaters next year.

Hot Leo Hits Cannes

Leo looked smokin' HOT at Cannes this weekend! Saturday he checked out the premiere of No Country for Old Men, then hit the red carpet for his latest project 11th Hour. Leo not only co-produced and co-wrote 11th Hour, but also narrated the environmental film. The film takes a look at how humans have damaged the earth and what we can do to fix it. Of the film's topic he said, "It's such an amazingly large issue, and you suddenly you feel like, what can I do? What can I do? It's too big for me to deal with. I think that movie, through the cinematic format, was able to convey science to the public and to the media in a way that it had never done before."

Joseph Gordon-Levitt - Love Him or Leave Him?

Ever since 500 Days of Summer, I haven't been able to get Joseph Gordon-Levitt off my brain. (And yesterday's trailer for Women in Trouble doesn't help!) It's not like I didn't pay attention to him before - I loved 10 Things I Hate About You - but my adoration for this guy is ballooning faster than his career.

Gordon-Levitt has loads of projects coming down the pipeline: his upcoming film Uncertainty just got picked up, and he has Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio and Hesher with Natalie Portman both slated for release next year. Sure, he's kind of an indie guy, but I'd love to see him come into his own as a leading man. (Perhaps he'll even take on the Jack Ryan series someday?)

All right, so I've gushed enough, but am I alone in my crush? Do you see the JGL appeal that I'm talking about, or is he still just the geeky guy from 3rd Rock From the Sun? What do you think of Joseph Gordon-Levitt - love him or leave him?
