It's been a couple of weeks since actress, singer, model and paparazzi target Lindsay Lohan has gone and dyed her hair platinum blonde (yet again), however, I'm still not used to it. I love her best with her red hair, especially when it's darkened a bit to a chestnutty, cherry hue. Lindsay Lohan was so determined to get golden locks this week that she reportedly spent an impressive 11 hours in the Byron and Tracey Hair Salon in Beverly Hills. The actress looked nervous as her hair colour changed from her natural strawberry blonde tones. It is being implied that the change is for her upcoming film role in Dare To Love Me and Lindsay even suggested that she might have to cut it short too. Despite spending so long in the salon, she admits that she doesn't quite recognise her-platinum-self yet! I actually think that she pulls off golden tresses, but it what about you – which hair colour do you prefer on Lindsay?

Trend Alert: Tight Celebrity Curls

At Madonna's directorial debut in New York this week, it seems that her recent hair style is becoming something of a trend. Despite the bad news that her marriage may be over, she sure looked beautiful. Both she and Lindsay Lohan showed off tight curls with middle parts. The shape of the hair was somewhat triangular, with lots of volume at the ends and little at the crown.

Meanwhile at the recent Milan premiere of her new film, Carmen Electra was working a similar style. This is a tough look to pull off, but all three blondes look gorgeous (although I love Lindsay Lohan's dark sun-kissed colour the best). What do you think of this tightly wound hair trend?

Always one to change it up a bit, Lindsay Lohan attended the grand opening of LA's Apple Lounge with her signature copper locks back in action. Over the past six months or so, she's gone from from a blonde to a brunette to a blonde to a redhead, all while keeping those flowing extensions intact. I've always preferred Linds with red locks; it just looks gorgeous with her skin tone. How about you?

It seems like Lindsay Lohan is everywhere these days - or at least she's on the covers of magazines each month. For April, she's on Nylon, looking very thin and very golden-blonde.

Lindsay followers know that she colors her hair frequently, which always made me assume that her hair has to be fried from all of the bleaching. Not so, says colorist Tracey Cunningham, who colored LL's hair for the Nylon photo shoot. "I love Lindsay's hair color because it complements her look; it isn’t too blonde or too dark. It is the perfect shade for her," she says. Because Lindsay was already a blonde, Cunningham used a color gloss instead of a permanent dye. (No ammonia = easier on hair.) She custom-blended a formula using Redken Shades EQ gloss (shades 09AA Papaya, 08C Cayenne and 09G Vanilla Crème, if you're interested.)

Lohan lesson learned: If you've already lightened your hair, a gloss or a glaze can boost your color without doing permanent damage. As far as landing the cover of a magazine, you're on your own.

Last night at the Whitney Gala in NYC, Lindsay Lohan arrived on the red carpet with hair so blonde, I felt like it practically blended into her milky skin. She's been blonde for a while now, but the shade changes anywhere from platinum to slightly yellow to strawberry blonde. LL Gets Red Hot For Her Upcoming Birthday Weekend in Vegas

Lindsay Lohan stopped by a salon in LA last night to dye her hair a darker shade of red before meeting up with Samantha, who was fresh off a DJing gig at the Reebok party. Things seem to be going well with Samantha, but Lindsay's also found herself in the middle of another relationship - Justin and Jessica's - after accusing him of cheating last week. The latest rumor is that Lindsay posted the photo of Justin's drunken antics as retaliation for brushing her off when she tried to dance with him. Whatever actually happened that night, Lindsay will have a chance to stir up more drama this weekend when she heads to Vegas to celebrate her 23rd birthday.

How Do You Style Your Hair When You Shop?

Actress, model and headline grabber Lindsay Lohan was spotted shopping over the weekend at a boutique in Los Angeles playing with her hair. I know that when I shop, I like to keep my hair off my face so that I can focus on the clothing and/or accessories that I'm trying on. I don't style it in any particular way, I just make sure to have an elastic or a clip on hand for the dressing room.
