LA was host to the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards last night, and nominees, presenters and performers flocked to the red carpet for the show. Last week, PopUS asked you if you thought Zac Efron's pool party comedy short — including Vanessa Hudgens, Nicole Richie, Brody Jenner and Joel Madden — was funny or not so much. Now Lindsay Lohan has uploaded a "dating profile" to the comedy site Funny or Die, and I want to know what you think? She makes fun of all the perceptions of her out there, including her recent split with DJ Samantha Ronson, her family, her partying and more.

While we really, honestly wish Lindsay the best in her attempts to get well, we couldn't help but notice her sly use of the word "Proactive" when describing her decision to enter rehab. Perhaps she was slipping in a plug for the similarly named acne solution for which she shills? Well, it got us thinking...could she be used as the spokesperson for her newest proactive venture as well?
2008 MTV VMAs: Winners And Wicked Performances
As I told you earlier, Britney Spears won three awards last night, sweeping the board at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. After her cringeworthy comeback performance last year, it felt like this year she'd finally got it all together — she looked stunning in her mini-dress as she opened the show with a skit featuring Jonah Hill (UK readers, you can watch it all unfold on MTV tonight from 8pm). Rihanna, T.I, Christina Aguilera and the Jonas Brothers also put on some memorable performances, with Pink's spectacle of a performance standing out as a particular highlight.

LL's Stolen Items May Have Been Very Personal
Lindsay Lohan stopped by her LA house to pick up a few more things yesterday. Her home was robbed last weekend, and as her father helps police investigate, more details have come to light about the incident. Apparently some personal items of Lindsay's — possibly including incriminating videos, photos, and legal documents — were taken from her safe, and LL seems to think she knows who is responsible.

Samantha Has a Bittersweet Serenade For Lindsay
Lindsay Lohan held on and followed Samantha Ronson out after a performance at a restaurant in LA last night. Samantha gave her DJ skills a rest, instead she showed off her talents as a singer/guitarist, which she formerly demonstrated on the Mean Girls soundtrack. This time, she dedicated a song to Lindsay saying, "You get your heart broken sometimes and then you unbreak it and break it again."
