Look Book Love: Wren, Spring '09

I've seen many a look book in my lifetime - but I'm sprung on Wren's Spring '09 look book. I find myself constantly going back to it, like an unrequited lover that stalks her crush. OK, maybe that's a bit dramatic, but you get my drift. Not only does this collection have desirable pieces, it has been styled beautifully, almost flawlessly. Take note of the footwear, too. What's more, it does not abandon any customer. It caters to the tastes of girlie girls, those who dig menswear accents, color-lovers, as well as earth tone fans. Experience it for yourself.

Guess the Sugar Girls at the PopSugar/Tech Crunch Party!

The PopSugar/Tech Crunch party has come and gone (tear). But what a way to kick off Spring! The party (last Thursday night) was a hit and most of us have finally recovered. Some of the Sugar girls were lucky enough to go down to LA and represent in style. I rounded up a good amount of the girls (and guy) for some Look Booking fun. I thought it would be even more fun for you to try to guess who the Sugar girls are. No, our lovely reader Sandra Werner didn't win the Marc by Marc Jacobs Tote we just gave away. Yes, she loved it so much, she went out and purchased it. Now that's simply a Marc girl! What I like about this look is that she decided to make it the focus of attention by wearing an all-black ensemble. And leopard shoes are a good way to break up the monochrome look.

Who here is a Diane Keaton fan? And who admired her famous androgynous look from Annie Hall? There is something very sexy about when a woman wears a man's clothes; such designers as Commes de Garcons and Giorgio Armani have built menswear-inspired womenswear empires based on this fact. I thought this androgynous cool outfit posted by sinplicit was a great look and a cool photograph to boot. She is today's Look Book Look of the Day.
