From logo lollipops to stylish cupcakes, the merging of fashion and food isn't new. What I haven't seen, however, is a Champagne glass shaped like a shoe! Designed by famed shoe maker Christian Louboutin, this glass slipper was created to coincide with the launch of the brand's own Champagne.

To celebrate her 50th birthday in style next year, Mattel Inc. has enlisted Christian Louboutin to design a special pair of pumps for Barbie. "I guess I always had a little 'girlie side' who liked Barbie," said Louboutin.

I have a ton of Winter coats in my closet, but I've yet to own a metallica jacket. I admit, I was shy of the shiny, but seeing Gwyneth Paltrow in her silver Alice + Olivia coat and Christian Louboutin caged booties at the Valentino event in NYC swayed me otherwise. These toppers inject major wattage to dark winterwear, and are perfect for upcoming holiday soirees.

On the footwear front today, the unstoppable Nicole Richie has released exclusive images of her Spring '10 House of Harlow footwear collection. The shoes, set to debut in January at My-Wardrobe.com, stay true to her bohemian aesthetic featuring chunky platforms and Navajo-inspired detailing. Prices are to be determined.

Victoria Beckham's first foray in to high fashion design was a surprising success with her dress line gaining her a lot of praise from the press. She has now been designing for three seasons and rumour has it that she is looking to expand in to shoes and handbags.
Victoria is famous for her impressive Hermes bag collection and is rarely seen out of Louboutins.

So I'm shoe obsessed. Who isn't? Imagine my elation when I found out the Saks in San Francisco was redoing its shoe department to mirror the famous New York one.
