Madonna, David and Mercy Do Good and Crack Up in Malawi

Madonna continued her work in Malawi, including a tour of the Mphandu la Orphanage with Mercy, Lourdes, David and Rocco yesterday. David looks like he's the comedian of the family making some funny faces for the cameras. Earlier this week, Madonna broke ground on her girls' school, but she still feels like there's a lot of work to be done. She pledged to bring electricity to the area saying, "I know you work in darkness. I will bring you electricity." Madonna's been busy down in Africa, but we should expect to see a lot of her imposters tomorrow night since the Material Girl costume is a perennial favorite, even for celebrities.

Madonna's "Celebration" Video With Jesus and Lourdes - So Hot or So Blah?

Madonna's greatest hits album is coming soon, and here's the video for her first single, "Celebration." Most of you were loving the song when it came out, and after getting a taste of the video last week here's the entire thing, which is available for free download on iTunes until Sept. 3. Both Jesus Luz and Madonna's daughter Lourdes make cameos in "Celebration," as a DJ and dancer respectively. Madonna Cools Off After a Heated Show in Romania

Madonna took a dip in her hotel pool while touring through Romania yesterday. She continued to keep her bikini bod covered with her modest choice of swimwear, but she wasn't holding back on stage this week. She caught some fire for speaking out against the discrimination of Romanian gypsies at her Bucharest show but has since fought back by releasing a statement saying she felt "compelled" to comment on the situation.

Madonna's No. 1 on Her Birthday With Jesus and the Kids

Madonna kicked off her 51st birthday weekend with a show in Krakow, Poland on Friday where she was greeted with a serenade from fans as well as some angry protesters. The next day she brought her kids and Jesus Luz to Portofino for a hard-earned vacation. She has a few days off from her Sticky and Sweet tour, and last night she celebrated her big day properly with a candle-lit dinner at the town's Splendido Hotel. Madonna was up early this morning for a day on the water, taking a boat ride with Jesus, David and Mercy before a swim with Lourdes and Rocco. No stop in Portofino would be complete without a visit with Dolce and Gabbana, and after saying hello to the guys Madonna and her gang finally called it a day.

Mercy Fits Right Into Madonna and Guy's London Life

Madonna gave her daughter Mercy a piggyback ride out of London's Kabbalah center on Saturday. Mercy already had a little red string on her wrist for services with her new siblings and Guy Ritchie after a week of fun times with their family. As she gets used to life with Madonna, her grandmother back in Malawi has spoken out about missing her. Mercy is helping put a smile on Madonna's face, though, especially as the singer deals with her friend Michael Jackson's death.

Madonna's Mercy Joins Her New Family in London

Mercy arrived in London from Malawi via private jet just in time to join her family for Kabbalah services on Saturday in London. Even Guy Ritchie helped welcome Madonna's new addition before taking Rocco and David for the weekend. Mercy looked adorable in her pink dress outside of Madonna's apartment yesterday morning, though she's understandably a little confused by all of the attention. Hopefully, it won't be long before she settles into her new life, starting with some bonding time with her mom and sister.

The singer's already making preparations for her second daughter, apparently asking Gwyneth Paltrow to design the little girl's room while fashionista Lourdes picks out clothes for her little sister.

Mercy's Father Speaks Out as Madonna's Appeal Begins

Madonna attended Kabbalah services on Saturday in NYC with Jesus Luz and her children ahead of her adoption appeal beginning today in Malawi. Unfortunately, more drama surrounds the proceedings - the man claiming to be Mercy's father filmed a three-part-interview with The Early Show in which he talks about wanting to take care of Mercy himself. He has never met Mercy, and Madonna's rep says no one's sure if he's actually her dad. Sounds like things are getting complicated for Madonna, but she's not one to shy away from a fight.

Madonna Recovers While Her Adoption Appeal Date Is Set

Madonna brought all three of her kids, as well as Jesus Luz and Carlos Leon, to Kabbalah services in NYC on Friday evening. Unfortunately, the weekend wasn't all about spending time with loved ones - Madonna was briefly hospitalized on Saturday after the horse she was riding supposedly got spooked by a paparazzo. The photographer accused of causing the accident said he wasn't to blame since if he had been there he would have photos of the incident. Meanwhile, Madonna's recovery might be made sweeter with the news that her adoption appeal will be heard on May 4. If all goes well for Madonna, she might have another child joining her at the weekly Kabbalah services before she knows it.
