Rihanna brought a starry crowd to the Brixton Academy last night for the launch party for the Nokia X6 where she showcased new material from Rated R. Jay-Z made a surprise appearance to sing with Rihanna on stage, and they were joined by Beyonce and her new pals JLS for the after party at Mahiki. As well as our giveaway winners lots of famous faces were in the audience for the gig, including Emma Bunton, Neve Campbell, Daisy Lowe, Kimberly Stewart and Keisha Buchanan to name but a few.

Yesterday, I had a crummy, stressful day at work. It was one of those days when the higher-ups are freaking out about an impossible deadline at the end of the week, getting everyone else all stirred up and anxious, only to find out later that the deadline is actually two weeks away.

Call it wine lite: Vintners in the Languedoc region of France have developed a new type of wine that's low in sugar, calories, and alcohol. The vino, developed by the French Wine Research Center, only contains 60 calories a glass and is virtually free of sugar.
This is achieved by growing grapes that contain 30 percent less sugar than traditional wine grapes, and with a new distillation process that lowers the wine's alcohol content from 13 percent to nine.

Do you have flyaways galore? No doubt frizziness is a year-round issue. But now that the warmer-weathered humidity-induced frizz is pretty much no longer the cause of extreme pouffiness, lots of us get the frizzies from merely wearing scarves, hats, and gloves — not to mention the low moisture levels in the air.

The coolest kid on the Internet has some new digs! The Twitter crew moved into their new offices in San Francisco's SOMA district yesterday, and a friend gave me a sneak peek at their new office. My favorite part: the "@" symbol light I spotted a couple months ago decorating their lounge area.
