Cruising through downtown San Francisco, I stopped to look at this Tommy Hilfiger window display at Macy's. I like the cohesive statement the yellow chandelier, mantel, and chairs makes. It looks sunny in a cozy way, but it also seems peculiar to me to see Adirondack chairs used indoors.

Now is the time to show off your inner prowess in this season's hottest trend: cat prints. Feline-inspired motifs are all about emoting major ferociousness via micro-minis, leggings, frocks, accessories, and chiffon tops — like this rad Dagmar Leopard Print Top ($231). Indeed, you have to be a wild one to don such cat power, but isn't there a little pussy cat in all of us?

In addition to a simple recipe for barbecued beans, Iron Chef Cat Cora — who has her own barbecue joint, CCQ — also happens to have plenty of party advice. Whether you're hosting a Come Together dinner for charity or simply throwing a backyard bash, there are a number of steps you can take to make your party more festive and easier on yourself! Here are a few key pointers to keep in mind, courtesy of Cat.

If it hasn't become apparent over the last few days, I'm an enthusiastic fan of Ming Tsai's. Last week, the Simply Ming chef stopped into San Francisco to host a party for the Macy's Come Together campaign. While demonstrating how to make potstickers, Ming, an exceptional storyteller, made fun of his parents who were present in the audience, told tales of mischief in France's Michelin-starred restaurants, and recalled his win against Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America ("rumor has it that I may soon face off against Iron Chef Morimoto," he told the crowd).

I've been sold on Ming Tsai ever since he was a barrel of laughs in Aspen, so when I heard he was headed west, I knew I had to meet him. Ming was in town hosting a benefit for Macy's Come Together, a campaign to provide 10 million meals for families in need. I caught up with him in the green room before his demo, where he shared his thoughts on the importance of cooking for others, why you shouldn't buy a $4.99 skillet, and whether we're likely to see him on Top Chef Masters.

First we gushed over the fabulous clothes, and now it's time to dig into Rachel Rachel Roy's equally adorable jewels. Just when I thought I had enough baubles for a lifetime, this collection makes me yearn for more. Fortunately, it won't break my bank.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I shrieked with excitement when Rachel Roy announced she was starting a new collection, the younger, less expensive sister of her namesake line. I could hardly wait to see the clothes, and now that day has finally come.

If your man is the bomb boyfriend, meaning he's been there for you through bad haircuts, crazy outbursts, and even fixes your car (aw); then it's time to up the ante. This Valentine's Day, forgo the red silk boxers and get creative. It's not rocket science, boys are pretty easy to shop for.

A sofa often comprises the largest decorating cost in a living or sitting room. Since it's also a focal point of the room and a high-traffic seating area, it's important not to just snatch up the cheapest thing you can find. Luckily, there are good-looking, even striking, sofas out there that won't cost you an arm and a leg, and that won't give you a backache either.
