Many of us take public transportation to and from work, which makes me think you've been witness to women primping on the bus or the train a few times too many. Public grooming has always been a pet peeve of mine, and as it turns out, Emily Post agrees:
"Let your grooming wait. Quickly combing your hair or freshening lipstick won't offend, but peforming your morning grooming routine on public transportation — or, more dangerously, in your car — is something to avoid."

Breaking up is hard to do even if you know, at the end of the day, that it was the right decision. Missing the constant affection and companionship of a loved one can take quite a bit of time to get used to. While closing off all contact is the best way to move on, it's much easier said than done, leaving some couples holding on to any lingering connection they can grab.

I'm three years out of college and I've never had a job that required me to dress up. Not ever having gotten in the habit of wearing makeup, this also means I've never worn any to work. However, I'm being offered a job that will require full business attire, and I feel like it behooves me to develop on a sophisticated presence.
