Mandy Moore was pretty in a printed dress on Thursday night for a bash in LA held to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation. It was a rare outing for Mandy, who's been busy settling into married life with Ryan Adams. She opened up about their relationship, saying, "I’m learning every day. I’m lucky because I get to spend every day with my best friend and he’s a great influence." Ryan gave Mandy some advice when it came to her recent music endeavors, and maybe their romance can inspire her acting in her next big screen performance.

Mandy exercises her body by going on hikes and doing Pilates three or four times a week, and she achieves mental health and happiness by receiving regular acupuncture sessions and going to therapy. She loves acupuncture and says, "It's so restorative. It brings me back to myself." The therapy sessions are "freeing" for Mandy because she gets an unbiased view and doesn't feel like she's being judged. It's clear that Mandy is doing everything she can to take care of herself, and her efforts are paying off.

Mandy Moore Loves Peanut Butter, But Ambivalent About Her Hips

Newly married Mandy Moore knows that she is no longer 14 because she has the womanly hips to prove it. Although the maturing pop princess appreciates being a role model for women by representing a different, curvier look often under-represented in the media, Mandy admits she has a "love-hate relationship" with her hips.

Rather than focusing so much on her appearance - she has professionals to help her with all that - Moore works at living a healthy lifestyle. She eats a colorful array of foods, gets acupuncture, and avoids the Hollywood diet obsession.

She recently told People magazine:

"I appreciate when there are other women out there who are beautiful and aren't, you know, a pound. I feel lucky that I don't feel pressure . . . to have my whole life be controlled by whether I fit into a certain size."

Mandy doesn't deprive herself of foods she enjoys believing that it is just not worth it. Her food weaknesses include french fries, cookies, and anything containing peanut butter. When it comes to food and dieting she says, "To me it's about feeling good, feeling healthy." Amen to that!

Mandy Moore flashed a huge smile as she took the microphone to perform at Amoeba Music in LA yesterday. She's talked about doing something different with her newest album, especially since she's grown a lot since her early days as a pop star. Getting married was also a big stepping stone toward adulthood, and Mandy talked about her new marriage to Ryan Adams, saying, "It still feels not entirely real. Things are wonderful, and there's such a peaceful settledness about it. But sometimes I can't wrap my head around it. It seems bizarre but really cool at the same time, like, 'Wow - I did that!'" Mandy's new album Amanda Leigh was released yesterday, and it sounds she's got plenty of things to smile about these days.

DJ AM and Mandy Moore Keep Things Friendly

The former flames have always maintained their friendship, and when Mandy heard about DJ AM's accident, she rushed across the country to be at his hospital bedside. Not all of his exes are quite as devoted as Mandy, but DJ AM has plenty of friends supporting him, especially now that Travis Barker is also out of the hospital.

It's no secret we love Mandy Moore, which is why we couldn't wait to hear more about the debut of the Holiday Collection for her clothing line Mblem. Mandy celebrated last night in Hollywood and she had more to be happy about than just her fabulous clothes. The actress and singer is now adding reality TV star to her list of accomplishments. The good news is it won't be your average reality TV show. The one-hour special will follow Mandy for one day as she prepares for and performs in concert. The show called I am Mandy Moore (could they not think of anything more original?) will air on Oxygen on August 14th and help her promote her new album, Wild Hope.

Meanwhile, newlywed Mandy showed off her rings and also talked about how she's "thrilled" and "very, very happy" to be married. Though she shied away from questions about Ryan Adams, he was with her in California Twittering about her sweet voice.
