I think she kinda looks like a rocker-chick here, a totally different style and colour than we're used to seeing on such a sweet type of gal. Earlier this month I spotted Nicole Richie and Whitney Port both donning a modern, slightly messy take on a half-up, half-down hairdo that Mandy Moore wore a while back. It's a casual, chic, and stylish way to keep your hair out of your eyes. This laid-back look is easy to achieve. Just follow my three simple steps below:

STEP 1: Part your hair in the center.
STEP 2: Pull back the top crown of your hair (above your temples where your bangs are/would be) and twist hair away from your face. You can also braid it or brush it back as additional styling options.
STEP 3: Secure hair on the sides with small barrettes, elastics or bobby pins, or pull both sections of hair to the back and secure together. See? Easy.

Ok, seriously - do all celebrities wear hair extensions? I used to believe the answer was no, but thanks to all of the insight from Sheila Stotts, I'm beginning to think otherwise. The gang from Gossip Girl wear them, as do all of the famous faces from part I and part II of my celebrity hair extension quizzes. Even if these people currently aren't extending their hair, they've at least worn them at some point in their career.

I've done some braid-spotting and by the looks of it, this hairstyle is sticking around for summer! Maybe these young entertainers parallel their lifestyles to the complex and tangled webs they are weaving in their hair. (Or maybe I'm overthinking this a bit.) Hollywood Comes Out to Get Lucky in LA

Lauren Conrad hit the red carpet alongside a bevy of beautiful ladies for the Lucky Magazine and Madewell Fall Denim Tour at the Bar Marmont last night in LA. Hollywood starlets from all over TV and film came out to celebrate the new line of denim, although for most of the atendees, short skirts were the dress code for the evening. Kristen Bell looked like the picture of health in her layered look, while Mandy Moore showed of yet another new hair transformation. Rachel Bilson traded in her casual wellies for worn-in black boots, striking a pose after walking the red carpet. Katie Cassidy joined the rest of the ladies as another new episode of Melrose Place aired - though it's still not as scandalous as 90210.
