Kate Shops Before Her Holiday Topshop Collection Debuts

Kate Moss and boyfriend Jamie Hince strolled arm-in-arm around London Friday afternoon before making a quick stop in Marc Jacobs. Fans of her Topshop line are in luck, since her Holiday Collection arrives next week and this time she's focused on her love for lingerie. About the line, Kate said, "I love beautiful nightwear, it makes you feel great. Who doesn't want fab nightwear for Christmas?" Knowing how much Kate loves to wear her own designs, she'll probably find a way to make even her negligee into street ready style.

Fab Flash: Marc Jacobs to Tie the Knot

Update: Marc and Lorenzo are, in fact engaged! The couple will make a public announcement tomorrow. Congrats!

Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone have been dating for a while now so it's only natural to wonder when, or if, the two will wed. After his successful Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion week, Marc proclaimed to the press that he was in love and inspired. When asked if a wedding was on the horizon, Martone replied stating, "It's really early to share, but our relationship is getting stronger and more mature. And with that, some things might happen."

If a wedding were to take place, we would imagine only the best for Jacobs and his beau. Martone, hypothetically speaking, of course, envisions a ceremony in St. Barth's. "We experienced a really great vacation in St. Barth's recently," said Martone. "It was during the Winter in December. It was super warm, people were relaxed, tanned, and we were having an amazing time with our friends. So why not? Maybe a New Year's Eve wedding in St. Barth's would be really fun." The date could be closer than we think. The love birds are currently on vacation in Brazil where Jacobs will be meeting Martone's mother for the first time. Aw.

Fab Face: Eliza Cummings

Newcomer British model Eliza Cummings has everyone yapping. Maybe it's because her start was such a cinch compared to other models. Immediately after signing with Select - thanks to her mom's friend who suggested she see an agent - she booked Vogue Italia. Shortly thereafter, Steven Meisel shot her for the cover of the same mag. Or perhaps it's because she resembles Elvis Presly. For a short while there, she was going by Eliza Presly, upon the advice of her agency.

She's back to Cummings now and literally rocking the modeling world with her hardcore boyish look. These days you'll find the 18-year-old posing frequently with ex-boyfriend model Ash Stymest - people say the two Brits looks alike. She's also one of Marc Jacobs' Top Ten Heads. Not bad, for being new in town. Get to know Eliza better.

Fab Blab: Victoria Beckham and Marc Jacobs in Conversation

Do you remember when Roberto Cavalli couldn't recall Geri Halliwell's name in an interview after designing the Spice Girls' tour costumes? Well, that's just one reason I always feel a bit dubious about "friendships" between designers and celebrities.

It seems the same can't be said about Marc Jacobs and Victoria Beckham who have grown an unusual relationship over the past few years, with her starring in very memorable ads for his design house.

I would love to be a fly-on-the-wall whilst this pair chatted away, and with Victoria's famous sense of humour I don't doubt that they share a few laughs. Whilst I can only dream of gaining such access, the Bergdorf Goodman magazine has a good alternative.

The Spring issue of the publication contains a conversation between the two friends, offering a brief insight in to their world. WWD have today provided a preview as they discuss Marc's Harper's Bazaar shoot and how the customer is the most important person to him.

"The customer is the woman who wants a great dress. She’s not concerned with what a critic thinks, or what a gossip column says about my boyfriend."

Mrs. Beckham also discussed the problems she faces with the media.

"When you are well-known in the tabloids, and you’re trying to break into a new industry, it makes it very difficult, because people get preconceptions, and so everybody thinks that I am a miserable bitch who goes shopping every day."

New York Fashion Week, Spring 2009: Marc by Marc Jacobs

Marc by Marc Jacobs's Spring girl is simultaneously sporty, quirky, and girlie. For his younger line, the designer sent youthful models with lots of layers down the catwalk. When I say layers, I'm talking layered clothing and layered accessories. Belts, belt bags, and necklaces were all piled on top of one another for a funky, mumbo-jumbo effect. 'Tis Marc, after all.

As for the clothing, cuffed cargos, paperbag khakis, tiered floral dresses, linen rompers, and boyfriend blazers made appearances. Loose cuffed shorts and fun-colored scarves were also a big part of the line. Along with some of the more seasoned models like Irina Kulikova and Karlie Kloss, there was Cato van Ee from Model.Live. Not a bad gig to score, right? Realistically speaking, one wouldn't wear the Marc by Marc Jacobs looks as they're styled on the runway, but if taken apart, many pieces are functional and stylish.

MJ Brings Out Posh, J Lo, Nicole, Kanye, and So Much More!

Nothing brings out the celebrities at New York Fashion Week quite like Marc Jacobs, and last night he didn't disappoint. Not only did Fab love his colorful MJ collection, but the front row kept things fun. Most exciting was seeing Victoria Beckham's very short haircut, which you're loving, seated next to Jennifer Lopez throughout the show. They were a vision in black and white posing together for the cameras and trading Project Runway judging tips, perhaps? After the runway, Jay-Z quickly ducked out but not before a photo op including Kanye and his suspenders. Nicole Richie snuggled up to the man of the night Marc himself in a sparkly headband after sitting close to Mary-Kate Olsen and her boyfriend Nate Lowman at the Proenza Schouler show earlier in the day. No sleep for the weary just yet - the Fashion Week marathon marches on.

Famous Sisters Ride Solo and Take a Bite Out of Mango

Mango relaunched its SoHo store last night with dinner at Shang, a party, and some celebrities to help celebrate. While Mary-Kate was over in Dubai, Ashley Olsen posed by herself in a casual all black dress. She rolled solo, but rumor has it Ashley's boyfriend Justin is moving in to her LA house as things get more serious between the two. The $1 million bribery lawsuit he had to pay didn't seem to bother Marc Jacobs much as he once again wore a skirt and smiled with his boyfriend Lorenzo. Even without sister Penelope, Monica Cruz was there to support their clothing line in the store, and Solange Knowles sang for the crowd as everyone enjoyed a little Mango.

Double Take: Luke Worrell Channels Andy Warhol

It's no secret that Marc Jacobs is a bit of a fan of Andy Warhol. He once commented, "Warhol is Warhol. He's practically a god," so it's not surprising that his ad campaigns might feature an element of the artist. These ads for Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort feature Kelly Osbourne's boyfriend Luke Worrell with Warhol-esque hair and sunglasses. Although strictly speaking these are menswear pieces, Pop UK and I agreed that we would definitely wear the cardigan regardless, and I would even consider the shorts. Diane von Furstenberg created a Wonder Woman of a collection, Viktor & Rolf broke runway tradition, and Barneys New York's Simon Doonan tied the knot . . . with his boyfriend! Viktor & Rolf sparked a new virtual runway trend.
Rihanna became the Gucci/UNICEF spokeswoman.
Vogue Italia published its first ever, all-black issue.
Simon Doonan married longtime beau Jonathan Adler.
Victoria Beckham did it all. She created a dress collection, judged Project Runway Season Four's finale, modeled for Marc Jacobs, and signed a deal with Emporio Armani underwear campaign.

Kate and Marc Have a Beachside Blast in Spain

Kate Moss continued her Summer fun on Friday with a day at the beach in Formentera, Spain. In addition to her mom Linda and daughter Lila, Kate was joined by Marc Jacobs, his boyfriend - or maybe new husband? - Lorenzo Martone, and a few other guy pals. Lila played photographer before the women of the group went for a dip in the ocean with their bags in hand. After spending time last week with her Topshop boss Philip Green, it looks like Kate has found some other fashionable males to keep her company while her boyfriend Jamie is off on tour.
