Fergie, Nicole, Penelope, Marion, and Kate Are Five of the Nine

The many stars of Nine reunited in NYC today as they gear up to launch a press blitz before their film hits theaters on Dec. 18. Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard were spotted heading out of their hotel solo, just a few days after posing together at the weekend premiere of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. Nicole Kidman traveled to the Big Apple after a recent trip with Keith to Nashville, the place she says they love raising daughter Sunday. Fergie, meanwhile, was fresh off her appearance on Saturday Night Live with the Black Eyed Peas and a date night with her husband Josh, though he's already out on Long Island working on The Romantics with Katie Holmes. Kate Hudson also stepped out into the sunshine this afternoon, as she gets ready to switch gears from supportive girlfriend to leading lady.

Blake and Robin Have the Stars of Nine Supporting Pippa Lee

The leading ladies of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee hit the red carpet in NYC on Saturday evening. Blake Lively didn't address rumors she's going into business with Victoria Beckham as she smiled for the cameras, while her boyfriend Penn Badgley mingled with fellow Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford behind the scenes. Robin Wright Penn, meanwhile, showed off her new dark hairdo as she posed alongside Julianne Moore and Keanu Reeves. The film's writer and director, Rebecca Miller, brought along her husband Daniel Day-Lewis. He, in turn, was accompanied by a few of his costars in Nine, like Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard. Both films hit the box office in the coming weeks, but it looks like the two casts have nothing but support for each other.

Vogue Gets a Dose of Nine's Gorgeous Gals

Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, and Marion Cotillard grace the cover of Vogue's November issue in various shades of red to promote their highly anticipated Nine movie. We saw them at the Annie Leibovitz shoot back in February, and the final product looks beautiful. Inside the magazine all of the film's actresses, including Sophia Loren, Judi Dench, and Fergie, posed together. The article gives us a glimpse at how fun filming was for the girls, and Kate even described the experience as "Summer camp." Here are some highlights:

Penelope on her tortured character in the film: "Luckily I don't have to identify with my roles, because if I did I would be dead by now! I've been working since the age of seventeen, and I really haven't stopped. I want to balance it a little more. Instead of making three or four movies a year, I will do one."
Nicole on coming back to work after Sunday Rose: "I had no desire to work after I had my daughter, but to lure me back, this movie was the only way. [But] I'm not playing Claudia Cardinale. Even when I played Virginia Woolf I didn't take the real woman into account."
Kate on getting a role: "I spent most of my childhood singing and dancing and just never had the chance to do it professionally. So when I got the chance to work with Rob, I was so excited, I was out of my mind."

Marion on musicals: "It's been my dream to do an American musical. When I was a child, Annie was my favorite. I just never thought I would get to do it."
Penelope on living with Kate and Fergie: "I've had some very long dinners with Kate, because she loves eating. I mean four-hour dinners. We are exercising so much we don't feel guilty at all."
Nicole on Kate's acting: "Kate should be on Broadway. She should be the lead."

Attention! It's a battle between a French and an American. Frenchie Marion Cotillard first wore Vivienne Westwood's red satin strapless dress to the London of Public Enemies. Ankle-strap platforms and a black Stella McCartney clutch went along for the red-carpet ride. Then 90210's Jessica Stroup showed up to the Vivienne Westwood Spring '10 show in Paris wearing the same dress, only with different accessories. Purple Brian Atwood platforms and diamond jewels were her accompaniments of choice. So, who's it going to be?

Leo Breaks From His Vacation Ladies For His Work Women

Leonardo DiCaprio was back on the Paris set of Inception today with Ellen Page, filming a picturesque scene at a cafe that was apparently interrupted by some violence. It was a stark contrast to his work yesterday, which involved a whole lot of kissing Marion Cotillard. Their loved-up afternoon was a little closer to real life for Leo, after his weekend of partying with models in St. Tropez. He was able to enjoy a good few weeks in the South of France, where his leisurely yacht outings should leave him enough energy to tackle this next project.

We rarely see them photographed together, but the stylish duo were recently in spotted in beach gear in St. Tropez. Perfection. A little background on Guillaume - he gravitates toward sophisticated beauties, because, after all, he was married to Diane Kruger from 2001 to 2006. And now he's with the queen of chic, Marion, whom he befriended on the set of their 2003 film Jeux d'Enfants. She always looks flawless, while he is her cool, semi-disheveled other half. Even when he wears tuxedos and bow ties, he's never stuffy, never stiff. That's the French way. It's official: one Frenchie is hot, but two are on fire.
