When The Sarah Silverman Program and Important Things With Demetri Martin return tonight on Comedy Central, the network is packaging the two shows back to back for a hilarious Thursday night. This is the third season premiere for Silverman's show and the second for Martin's, which kicks off the night at 10.
It's been more than a year since Silverman's show has been on the air, and since then it has seen both bad news (production-threatening budget cuts) and good (Silverman's Emmy nomination), but I'm happy to see the irreverent show back on the air.

Leonardo DiCaprio suited up this morning in Rome to join Martin Scorsese for a Shutter Island photo call. The duo is kicking off the worldwide promotional tour for the film before it opens here on February 19, a few months later than its original December release date. Leo's back in Europe after spending a few weeks filming Inception in Paris and London last Summer, and just like in 2009 he's also able to fit in some fun.

Leonardo DiCaprio visited Pompeii with two of the most important women in his life, mom Irmelin and on-again girlfriend Bar Refaeli, in Italy yesterday. Later in the afternoon, the trio took a private jet to Rome where they met up with Martin Scorsese for dinner. Leo and Martin are finally starting promotion on their delayed Shutter Island, the most recent preview of the movie playing during last night's Super Bowl — watch it after the jump.

I own many pairs of leggings but none in gray. I recently got the urge to shop for a pair, something sleek, not sporty. These MM6 Maison Martin Margiela Gray Leggings ($181) are just what I need.

Rumor is that HBO's series Boardwalk Empire won't air until this Fall, but I'm already getting amped for its premiere. The show roster has talent in spades: Sopranos writer Terence Winter pens the script, Steve Buscemi plays a lead, and at its helm (at least for the pilot) is Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese.
Scorsese knows a thing or two about portraying hoodlums (Gangs of New York or The Departed come to mind), so he should be in his element here portraying 1920s Atlantic City during the prohibition and the gangsters who run it.

Coldplay's soulful music makes us understand why stunner Gwyneth Paltrow went weak at the knees for front man, Chris Martin. Using his music to comment on historical events and current social conditions, Martin has jettisoned his band to the global stage. When he's not touring the world or collecting Grammys, the very private musician can sometimes be seen spotted with his tots – Apple, 4, and Moses, 3, – at the playground or an amusement park.

Christmas in January! Two of my favorite funnymen, Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis, have signed on for promising new comedy Will. In the movie, Rudd plays a man in a world where lives are written by scribes in heaven, and who wakes up one day to find that his scribe (played by Galifianakis) has decided to stop writing his life, thus granting him free will.

Steve Martin kept himself hydrated while taking a walk on the beach in St. Bart's on Thursday. Like many of his fellow celebs that visited the island over the holidays he's enjoying downtime before the big award season kicks off.
