Three women, three different ways to get down to the root of things. Jessica Simpson, Beyoncé, and Mary-Kate Olsen each have distinctive styles, but they share one thing in common: A refreshingly low-key attitude when it comes to touching up their roots. Each of these blonde stars can afford to have that "I just left a salon" kind of color, but letting a few roots show feels thoroughly modern — particularly in an economic cycle where pricey highlights are a luxury that many people can't take.

The work of Tim Burton is being celebrated at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in a brand new exhibition that launched last night, and a selection of stars turned out to take a look at the collection. Tim Burton and his wife Helena Bonham Carter attended and posed for photos with Tim's buddy Johnny Depp, who was looking gorgeous as always! His sexiness has been verified by People magazine who have named him sexiest man alive!

Our (okay, my) prayers have been answered: Mary-Kate's hair color disaster has been fixed and, for once, her locks look healthy. Plus, it looks like she's leaving the salon with some Kerastase products, so that hair situation may finally be under control. Sure, she's wearing what is probably a size small sweater as a dress and enormous bondage-y shoes, but there's nothing outwardly crazy here!

Mary-Kate looks beautiful in blonde (her eyes look awesome) and fiery in a red wig in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar. I'm a total sucker for this newly open and acting and adorable version of MK and this is no exception. In the magazine she talks about all the important things - her hair, her style and why, seriously, why she always has a Starbucks cup in her hand.

At last night's Council Of Fashion Designers Of America's Reception in New York, twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (who happen to be new members), arrived with similar hair, but very different makeup. Whilst Mary-Kate opted for a metallic smoky eye, tawny blusher and creamy red lipstick, Ashley wore less dramatic eye makeup, pink blusher, nude lips and fuller brows. They both look lovely, but if you had to pick one beauty look that you like better, whose would it be?

Project Runway's Blayne would have had a heart attack if he had a ticket to Proenza Schouler's show, and not because of the jumpsuits. His style icon, Mary-Kate Olsen, sat in the front row. And while I wouldn't call it a heart attack, I'm kind of obsessed with her braided hairstyle — is it braidlicious or a miss?

Besides the obvious, such as twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, there are other celebrities that have lookalike sisters. Take Jennifer Garner, for instance, whose older sister Melissa is a dead ringer for the dark-haired beauty. Are you the spitting image of your female sibling(s), or anybody else, for that matter?

Last night was a very starry night in New York, as celebs got all dressed up for the Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. There were outfits ranging from the classic to the costume-like, with the stars showing how daring they were with their clothing choices! Leighton Meester took a huge step away from the classic look of her character Blair Waldorf in her patterned outfit, Agyness Deyn rocked a silver dress with big hair, Kate Moss was dressed by Marc Jacobs in gold, Victoria Beckham showed off her pins, and Kate Bosworth went a little gothic in her number.

The Met's Costume Institute Gala did not disappoint last night in NYC, bringing us one of the most star-studded red carpets of the year. The theme was "Model as Muse," which apparently brought out some interesting fashion choices. Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs were two of the hosts and had all eyes on them when they arrived first and her outfit included a turban.

Samantha, Victoria, Vanessa. There are more Trainas, but these are The Traina Three. All of them, children of novelist Danielle Steel and vintner John Traina, are under the radar but oh so Fab.
