In case you haven't heard, Miss Mary-Kate is a juror for the Tribeca Film Festival. She attended a brunch, along with her co-jurors, but stood out in her sexy hot pink Herve Leger bandage skirt, black leather jacket, and Elizabeth and James mules. Her Nancy Gonzalez croc clutch took the luxe factor up a few notches.

Mary-Kate looked classic bohemian Mary-Kate for the Annual Winter Dance at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. Leave it to MK to Olsen-ify the floral trend by wearing fur and a snakeskin clutch. Even though her friends Margherita Missoni, Derek Blasberg, and Arden Wohl are towering over her, she still manages to steal the spotlight.

Forgive me for sounding like a broken record, but Ashley and Mary-Kate are serious style icons in the making. We should look to them for inspiration whenever we can because they really are designer muses; it is wise to follow their dramatic trends-in-the-making choices. Though there are favorite similarities (shoes!) between the avant-garde sisters, they do use different approaches to dressing.

Last night, Mary Kate Olsen attended the Chanel and Tribeca Film Festival Artists’ Dinner in New York. She looked stylish as ever in a gothic, sheer black dress with glitter detailing and black strappy sandals. She added rock'n'roll touches to the look with a studded belt, chunky gold rings, and long earrings.

I'm not really a fan of clutches for the everyday, because I like to be able to carry everything I need, but they're great for special occasions or going out - when I don't need to lug a whole lot of stuff around!
This week's Life and Style takes a page out of Mary Kate's book and shows how her Miu Miu clutch (which I love, btw), can be good for day or night. So I had fun seeing what clutches I could come up with that would easily translate from day to night and back again!
