Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves spent their weekend on the beach in Malibu with their family. Camila showed off her baby bump number two in a string bikini and wrap skirt, cozied up by Matthew's side. MM hit the waves a bit while Levi explored and played with his grandparents, Kay and James McConaughey, as well as their doggies. It was hard to imagine that Matthew would be able to find a partner that loves the beach as much as he does, but it seems like he has that in beautiful Camila and the two have passed on their passion to water baby Levi and soon to their newest addition.

Camila and Matthew Welcome Levi Alves McConaughey!

Heartthrob Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves announced the birth of a baby boy yesterday. According to People, Levi Alves McConaughey met his parents face-to-face on Monday, July 7, at 6:22 p.m.

The proud new father explained the name Levi to OK!:

Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. . . Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'

In reference to the middle name, Matthew said, "We wanted to incorporate her [Camila's] family name."

We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin'.

Levi shares his birthday with Sunday Rose Kidman Urban - daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Maybe the two tots will grow up teaching each other about surfing and singing.

Birthday Boy Matthew & Camila Add a Baby Bunny to Their Crew

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves spent Monday afternoon handling separate business in LA. Camila was showing off her growing baby bump during her trip to a pet store, where she picked up dog food for BJ and even brought a small bunny home for Levi. It shouldn't be too long until they're bringing home another special addition to the family, as she and Matthew are expecting their second child at the end of the year. Matthew, meanwhile, was off inspecting a new Airstream that could be perfect birthday present for the actor who turns 40 today.

The McConaughey Weekend of Fair, Bikini and Beach Time

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves spent their weekend locally, enjoying their time on the beach and in Malibu. On Sunday, they brought Levi to a fair after MM went for a solo jog. They hit the sand together yesterday, with Camila once again showing off her baby bump in a bikini. Levi toddled alongside his parents and played around in the waves wearing cute board shorts from his impressive selection of beachwear. Every weekend looks like vacation for the McConaughey clan, so they didn't need to climb into the Airstream and hit the road to celebrate the holiday.

Introducing Matthew and Camila's Baby Levi McConaughey!

We've been seeing new pictures of a lot of celebrity babies recently and now we get to meet Matthew McConaughey's little son, Levi! The proud father and mother Camila Alves posed with their cute, tiny newborn on this week's issue of OK Magazine! as part of their deal. The couple, Matthew especially, opened right up about Camila's labor and what they want for their son. Here's more:

On dancing during Levi's delivery: "We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music. I have it all chronicled. Becoming a dad is something I've dreamed of doing since I was 10. Becoming a father felt very, very natural. We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let's go. She just clicked into that gear that only a woman has at a time like this. We'd been up for 40-something hours, and we went from dead tired to a really steadfast, 'Let's handle this… let's stay in the rhythm. Don't let the contraction be more than you.'"
Camila on Levi: "Everybody thinks he looks like me because of the hair and skin tone. I think he looks more like Matthew every day."
MM on Levi: "I've pulled out some baby pictures of myself, and the resemblance is amazing. This kid has a lot to learn from us. I want him to come out being a little wiser, a little cooler and a little happier than we are."

On delivery complications: "We ended up having an epidural because, on the large contractions, the umbilical cord was being compressed. They went in and tried the vacuum. This is where I learned - and no one tells you this - but having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing! And I mean that as a beautiful thing. It is wild. But the vacuum didn't work, and the doctor said, 'C-section.'
Matthew on learning Levi was a boy: "I said, 'Come here, little man.' I saw the pecker and screamed that we'd been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to her [Camila].
Camila: "It was neat to find out what the sex was because we didn't have the doctor tell us beforehand."

Matthew Is Out West But Possibly Southbound

Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves, and Levi were among the many celebrities to hit the beach over the weekend. MM paddle surfed Sunday in Malibu, while bikini-clad Camlia rested Levi on her baby bump. As Matthew's family continues to grow, he's not letting his career take the back burner. He's in talks to star in a new film called Southbound with Eva Mendes.

Matthew Is Back on the Bongos in Brazil

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves didn't waste any time after arriving in Brazil last weekend. Little Levi showed his face as they checked into their ritzy Rio hotel, though he stayed home on Saturday night when his parents had a date night. Matthew and Camila finished their evening at a salsa school, and somebody even let Matthew near the bongos - though fortunately he kept his clothes on this time. While he got into the groove on the drums, Camila was dancing away with another guy. It must have all been in good fun as the fun lovin' couple were spotted at the airport on their way to Camila's hometown the next day.

Levi's going to be a big brother! Sugardaddy Matthew McConaughey is so taken with fatherhood that he and his girlfriend Camila Alves are giving it another go! According to the actor's website, the couple is expecting another child. He said:

"Happy Father's Day. It's my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date. We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father's Day that [will] make this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother . . . Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows . . ."

Levi McConaughey Has His Dad's Sense of Humor

Matthew McConaughey brought his family and friends to the MaliBLUE Art & Music Festival in LA yesterday. The event was a fundraiser for the Surfrider Foundation, which concentrates on protecting oceans and beaches, and MM looked happy to show his eco-friendly side. He's been promoting Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and recently talked about his experience working with Jennifer Garner and provided funny stories about little Levi. Here's more:

On working with Jennifer Garner: " I had a ball with Jennifer. She's very elegant, yet sort of a classic woman, actress. She does her own thing, and she also doesn't bring a lot of hoity-toity false drama to the process. But she's also very sly and cunning and witty. She's with it and she's fun to work with. You might think you're pulling one over on her, and she'll flip it right around. She's very keen and coy."
On whether he changes diapers and if Levi pees on him: "Yes! And yes! More than a few times to both. And he gets the joke when he pees on me. He laughs. He laughs his butt off! I think I am [good at changing diapers]. I could have a race-off with some other dads out there ... The coolest thing I've learned from Levi is kids really remind you of [your] sense of humor."
On having more kids: "Sure, maybe. This is going great right now. We're having a ball. Right now Levi's favorite toy is a carrot. No matter how many of those colorful toys you buy at Toys "R" Us or Babies "R" Us, his favorite toy is a carrot. He takes it everywhere. You've got to get a cold one. When it gets hot, he doesn't like it as much and you have to get a cold one out of the fridge. Because it's cold it feels good on his teeth, but he just likes the carrot."

Levi sounds like quite the character already, taking after his dad's outgoing personality and his mom's sense of style.

Fitness Really Runs in Matthew McConaughey's Family

We are used to seeing Matthew McConaughey and his dog on their morning jog in Malibu, but on Sunday Camila Alves took Levi on a run as well. At least it's a clue as to how Camila keeps her hot bikini body in shape. Levi took a nap while mom did all the work, but if he's anything like his fit parents he'll be joining them on their jogs as soon as he is on two feet. Running was your favorite form of exercise last year, and this picture perfect family seems to agree.
