Matthew McConaughey showed off his Texas pride on Saturday after one of his regular workouts in Malibu. Camila and Levi ventured a little farther from home and spent their afternoon in the Simi Valley. The duo made a quick stop at a bank, with Levi looking right at home perched in his pregnant mom's arms. Matthew has been logging long hours at the gym recently, but he still has time to work up a sweat beachside with Levi.

Matthew Works Up a Sweat and Drives His Muscle Car

Matthew McConaughey headed out solo for a workout in LA yesterday. He left his gym showing a few signs of sweat and hopped right into his sporty car. Levi was back at home, getting some exercise himself with a little walk. Matthew took Camila out for a spin in the Camaro Z28 earlier this week, looking happy to show off his special 40th birthday present. Hopefully there's enough room in the back for two car seats, since the happy couple will be welcoming their second child in not too long.

Matthew Rolls Solo While Camila Brings Her Ring and Bump

Matthew McConaughey ran errands in LA solo on Tuesday evening, and yesterday afternoon Camila Alves was spotted leaving her trainer's home. We got a peek at what cutie Levi was up to a few weekends ago, but the trio has been lying low lately as they await the arrival of the latest McConaughey. Matthew unfortunately hasn't been spending much six pack show-off time at the beach, and he was knocked out of our Summer Shirtless Contest a couple rounds ago. Gear Review: Kahuna Long Board With Big Stick

If you are looking to keep the surf of Summer alive in your landlocked life, you might want to try a dry version of stand-up paddling (SUP). Riding a long skateboard by Kahuna Creations while paddling yourself about with a Big Stick is the skating version of the popular water sport. As you can see, Matthew McConaughey is a fan of skate paddling; I would say I am too, but I'm not quite proficient enough at stopping yet to really claim to be a fan.

The Kahuna boards are beautiful - I tried the 45-inch Haka Pua ($169) - as are the Big Sticks ($89). To see how it feels to use them, just read more.

I had fun paddling up and down my street. Not only is it an upper body workout, but the motion gets your heart rate up too. As someone who is accident-prone with no prior skateboarding experience, it just doesn't feel all that safe - hence the helmet. Falling into water while SUPing is much less daunting than wiping out on asphalt. I found stopping and steering difficult, but feel these skills would come with practice. And skate paddling is fun, so practicing to gain skills would be a good time.

Matthew McConaughey Takes a Time Out For Business

Matthew McConaughey was spotted out and about with his dog BJ in LA on Friday, but it wasn't for one of their typical workouts. Instead, Matt took his pup for a car ride to an office building for a meeting. He may prefer the beach lifestyle with his family, but MM still has to tend to his acting career - especially with a new movie out in May.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves brought baby Levi out with them to meetings and lunch in LA on Friday. It looks like the workout junkie took a little break from training like Lance before yesterday's Malibu triathlon. Considering the limited release and, um, not so stellar reviews I'm guessing Surfer, Dude won't be No. 1 at this weekend's box office, but judging from the way Matthew looks at his little family of three, he's already a winner. Awww.

Matthew Just Keeps Exercising

Matthew McConaughey flashed a smile after a workout of running and biking around Malibu yesterday in preparation for the triathalon on Sunday. Surfer, Dude is out today and while he didn't hit the waves to celebrate, he recently revealed how much he enjoyed staying shirtless throughout the film. Matthew said, "When I'm lucky enough to be in a place where I don't have to wear a shirt and shoes, I don't. It's to pop the bubble and go 'Guess what? Now I'll do it the whole movie.'" On Sunday we'll see if he gets to keep up his shirtless streak for the race - now, we wonder who will get a better time in the race, Matthew or Jennifer Lopez?

Tri It Like J Lo and Matthew

What do Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey have in common, besides their skintight matching outfits?

Both celebs participated in the Malibu Nautica Triathlon yesterday. The race benefits LA Children's Hospital and it make sense that two new parents would want to help a renowned pediatric hospital. This sprint distance triathlon is comprised of a half-mile swim, an 18-mile bike ride, and four mile run. The celebrity charity distances might be a little shorter, but J Lo and Matthew still jumped in the ocean, pedaled on a bike, and finished all that up with a run. A well rounded workout for a Sunday morning.

Having done a sprint triathlon recently, I guess I now have something in common with these celebs too. I must say, I think training for any kind of endurance race is a great motivator, but since triathlons are all about cross training, they're great for preventing overuse injuries. Matthew Takes a Daddy Break to Take a Jog

Matthew McConaughey may be a new dad, but that doesn't mean he's about to let himself go. After bringing Camila and baby Levi home from the hospital yesterday, MM was back to his regular fitness routine today. While he may never give up his rigorous workouts, his new baby boy must take priority as the number one love of Matthew's life - or at least share the crown with Camila.
