The day's most hotly contested panel was the session for the
Emmys, at which executive producer Don Mischer attempted to explain the reasoning behind the decision to
"time shift" eight awards (aka, give them out in a special ceremony before the regular Emmys).

Some of the things being communicated on Twitter from the Emmy panel were pretty upsetting. Is there now a bias toward reality television, which don't even use writers?
1Patricia Arquette looks really happy to be there.
2Weirdly, reality TV didn't come up much at all in the panel. I think people were most concerned about which scripted shows were going to get recognized and how that would happen.
