Nov 11 2009 - 11:30am I freaked out a little (OK a lot) when it was announced that Tina Fey and Steve Carell
would play a married couple in the comedy
Date Night. Well, the trailer is here, and I'm still enthusiastic about it — though I wasn't expecting it to be so action-adventure-y.
The movie revolves around a single night out for typically bored (but atypically hilarious) married couple Claire and Phil Foster.

This looks great! I can't wait to see how Tina/Steve play off each other, and I have high hopes for this movie!
1wow this actually looks really good, however unexpected it may be that it's actually an action movie. I think I will definitely see this in the theaters.
2p.s. also super happy to see Mila Kunis getting work. I love her.
3I love these two. I love Mila Kunis too!
4The set up is a little obvious, but the casting is brilliant.
5REAL Stars--who actually offer the goods, and not just looks--MAKE movies, not necessarily the other way around.
I wanted to see Tina's last film about the no lying thing, she looked good in it, and I'm glad she's getting more film roles.
I hope Wahlberg doesn't waste too much more precious time
on junk like this ---I mean now that the US has to face
its legacy of 45 million abortions, 60% divorce rate
-on top of 40 million HIV deaths and 100 million infections
current worldwide (-and rising rapidly)
-and then of course there's the fact that the entire
film industry, media and economy are being underwritten
with junk-credit from the most genocidal regime in world
history ---across the Pacific (---70,000,000 'peacetime'
murders---and climbing).
Anyway -again -we hope Wahlberg gets beyond our circle-jerk
6status quo to serve up something deep, startling, relevant
---and -finally---timeless.
