Over a year ago, it was announced that Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman would be a guest designer for classic jewellery house Garrard. The jewellers was previously under the direction of Jade Jagger. Last night in New York, her first efforts were unveiled to a celebrity crowd.
Donatella Gets Lindsay and the PYTs to Celebrate Art in NYC
Donatella Versace gathered some friends from the fashion and art worlds in NYC last night for the Whitney Museum Gala. First up was a star-studded dinner, where Taylor Momsen and Mischa Barton mingled with Shakira and Jennifer Hudson. The festivities then moved downstairs for the afterparty, with Lindsay Lohan turning up to make a cameo.

Gerard's Among the Gorgeous Girls at the Whitney Gala
The stars were out in New York last night at the Whitney Museum Gala Studio Party in Manhattan, where glam was the order of the night for the guests. Alexa Chung looked beautiful in pale blue, on the day the second series of It's On With Alexa Chung started on MTV in the US, while Mischa Barton went for gown in a darker shade. Shimmering nudes and metallics were also prevalent as Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen played her skin coloured dress up with a very smoky eye, and buddies Donatella Versace and Lindsay Lohan also wore pale shades.

The Whitney Museum Gala took place last night in New York City as some very stylish ladies came together. The event was sponsored by Versace so there were a lot of hot dresses by the design house. Donatella Versace attended and posed with actors Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Hudson and Taylor Momsen.
Facinelli Joins a Housewife and Mischa, Heads Back to Eclipse
Peter Facinelli walked the red carpet with Real Housewives of NY's Jill Zarin at a Sony event in NYC last night. Peter spent the week filming Nurse Jackie, but right after the party he was headed straight back to Vancouver despite a nasty flight delay. Peter's a busy man filming Eclipse as well as his TV series but he still keeps his spirits high and makes sure to play practical jokes on Robert Pattinson.
The Beautiful Life Gets Cancelled After Only Two Episodes!
The CW has pulled the plug on The Beautiful Life after airing only two episodes. The ratings were dismal for the premiere and apparently things weren't looking up after the second week on the air. This makes TBL the first of the new Fall shows to be canceled after two other new CW shows — Melrose Place and The Vampire Diaries — were both picked up for more episodes.
Mischa Barton Is Continuing to Live a Beautiful Life
After taking in some of NY Fashion Week, Mischa Barton headed back to the set of The Beautiful Life in the city today. Marc Jacobs drew his usual star-studded crowd at NY's Fashion Week last night to show off his latest collection. Madonna and Lady Gaga, neither of whom were apparently specifically invited to the show, both arrived late and sat in the front row. They posed together for the cameras, fresh off taking the stage at the VMAs on Sunday.

It was another busy day at New York Fashion Week yesterday as celebs made the rounds of runway shows and parties introducing the trends for Spring 2010. Madonna attended Marc Jacobs' show, as did Lady GaGa, who showed up halfway through the event! Mischa Barton plays a model in the upcoming TV show The Beautiful Life and was getting some tips on pouting and posing as she attended more events after her busy weekend at the shows.
