It's Milan Fashion Week and Mischa Barton (pictured with Margherita Missoni) attended The New York Times Style Magazine's party in a geometric Karta dress. This look is girly yet cool, and a bit bohemian, just the way Mischa likes it. Her Chloe Heloise bag matches the dress perfectly, as do the round toe pumps and her red hair.

Mischa Barton may be Marie Claire's cover star, but she's also popping up in the new issue of InStyle too! She spent a day with them, modeling the new season's catwalk trends - from futuristic tailoring, to folk, to feathers! She also took a little time to talk to them about her fashion favourites:
- On her eclectic wardrobe: “I live in vintage shift dresses or jeans, but there’s also a bit of everything, from designer to H&M, and, like, 50 pairs of shoes – that’s not so bad, right?”
- On her bag obsession and new bag range: “It was so fun and creative – you sketch them and they send back a computer image, and I loved the idea behind Kate Moss for Topshop – that your fans can afford to buy your designs.”
- So are there any plans for her own fashion line?

Mischa Barton and Juliette Lewis paired up and partied the night away at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Juliette opted for a sexy flapper look (Fab!), and Mischa wore a beautiful silk Roberto Cavalli floral maxi dress from the Spring collection. I love that she took such an exquisite gown and gave it a splash of hippie with the braided headband.
Look for Less: Mischa Barton
One of the things I really like about Mischa Barton is that she's not afraid to try something different, even if it is a little bit risky. She attended the Candie's Foundation Event to Prevent Benefit earlier in the week sporting a pair of high waisted chinos. She nodded to this season's penchant for florals with a pretty camisole and then dressed up the look with brown chunky heels.

It makes me so happy to see Mischa Barton dressing Fab again. At Paris Fashion Week, the actress partied at Lou Doillon's party for Lee Cooper in a feminine purple, off-shoulder dress. Her pink satin Stella McCartney pumps add to the girlie vibe and provide some overall fanciness.

If I had to guess, I'd say Mischa Barton's favorite decade is the '70s. The actress, who was shopping for magazines, went back to her roots in a strapless floral dress, denim vest, and yellow sandals. I guess her recent fashion faux pas was a momentary lapse in fashion judgment.

Though Mischa's been going through a bit of an identity crisis, I'm still routing for the girl. While her pants here can definitely be characterized as "mom jeans" I'm crushing on her Matthew Williamson leopard top and glittery Lanvin flats — this is not a cheap outfit! While she still needs to fix that brassy hair of hers, I think things are looking up for Mischa heading into 2008!

Gal pals Mischa and Nicole did some bonding - ahem, shopping - in NYC yesterday. Mischa even stopped to pose for some photos! Rightfully so because she is precious in her See by Chloe colorblock dress and Chanel bag.

Now here are two buddies who travel in style. I really hope Annabelle can travel as well as Ziggy. Mischa has toned it down for the high maintenance security check and she knows that a hoodie and railroad stripes are always travel ready.
