Mischa Kicks Off her Spring Keds Campaign

Ms. Mischa the Keds girl was at Bungalow 8 yesterday to introduce Keds' Spring 2007 ad campaign. Their theme for the new campaign is The Getaway and the pictures will follow a 1960s vacation. The new ads will debut in Lucky, Glamour, Seventeen, Teen Vogue and Nylon in February. Mischa is getting ready to celebrate her third year with Keds and they are big fans of the beauty. Here's more:

"Spring 2007 kicks off our third year with Mischa Barton and she has never looked more beautiful. Her innate sense of style, confidence and intelligence make her the perfect fit for Keds. The 'Getaway' theme of the campaign was very fun for Mischa to shoot and quite relevant to her personally, and one that most of us can relate to as we all seek a little R & R," said Jennifer Weiderman, vice president of marketing for Keds.

Party On with Mischa & Keds

I would like to declare this week Mischa Barton week! For you fans out there, I'm sure you won't mind another post delving into Marissa Cooper's style adventures. Now we know where she was heading when we just saw her at the airport! Well, she most likely landed at JFK, hitched a town car to the Hotel Gansevoort, and got prepped for her Macy's appearance. Here, she signed autographs for those who purchased a pair of Keds.

You know I'm a fan of both Keds and Mischa - hey, we grew up in these youthful kicks and Mischa is just such a pretty girl. Here she is in a signature flowy dress paired with her new favorite pair and donning some serious earrings. While I think she could have done without the earwear and let her beautiful face shine, I am digging her lovely Tiffany gold heart necklace. Where to next MB?!

Mischa Heads Back East for Keds

Mischa walked the streets of NYC yesterday looking just as adorable as she did when she took off with Ziggy from LAX this week. The trip isn't all fun and games for Mischa - yesterday she headed over to Macy's to fulfill her duties as a Ked's girl. I guess the promotional tour explains her fancy new hair. She's so stylish just walking down the street -- in fact, she looks like she could be shooting a commercial right now.

Mischa's High Maintenance

Ms Mischa works hard for the money. The ex-OC actress has been working hard pimping Milk, bebe, Morgan and Keds this year. Here she is at the latest Keds in store promotion. The new line is called Rave sneakers and they have a distressed look. Mischa knows to not let this whole acting thing go to her head. She said:

"I was becoming too high maintenance. Actors start talking about themselves as if they are the most important people on Earth - I was no different. We have to have a big belief in ourselves. For most of us all it's all about, 'Me, me, me.' It's a mad business. You play so many characters, and have to almost try to become them. The self-absorption can take over your life. And the younger you are, the worse it can become."

Just when I started to wonder whatever happened to Mischa Barton, she goes and pokes her head back up on the social scene. Last night she was out again fulfilling her duties as Keds girl, unveiling the Spring 2008 line matched up with her fancy dress. Or not matched, as the case may be. Something about Mischa is pretty unrecognizable without her dirty blond Marissa Cooper locks (and those red lips). She's only 21, but the look ages her a bit. Hey, even if she's not wearing the cutest shoes in the world, at least she's a) comfortable and b) still getting paid, right?

Mischa Glams Up Keds

Mischa Barton looked downright gorgeous while continuing her Keds by Nanette Lapore promotional stint in London. I'm going to go ahead and say that this is the most dressy Keds have ever looked. It's certainly head and shoulders above her picnic table cloth look from the other day. Mischa can dress like a disaster, but you gotta admit that she cleans up well, right?

Mischa Loves Her Keds

For someone who is supposedly such a stylist trend setter, I wonder why she signed on to pimp Keds. There are so many other companies that would make more sense. Seems like her agent missed the boat on the that one. Jane Magazine hosted a party to promote the new shoe line and since Mischa's their spokesperson, she was there all dolled up in a pretty dress with those boring plain kicks. Anyway, I want to sport fake eye lashes - how pretty do her eyes look here?
