We all have our moments, and sometimes the little things can set our mood into a tailspin. Maybe somebody accidentally threw away your bagged lunch at work, or your neighborhood coffee shop ran out of cream, and boom - you're instantly in a bad mood. Stereotypically speaking, women are thought of as the moody ones, but men can be moody too, and there's actually a name for it - irritable male syndrome. It's much less severe than depression or bipolar disorder, but the same roller coaster of emotions apply. One minute he's happy and loving life, and the next, he's sulking and not wanting to talk. This change in mood can be triggered by hormonal fluctuations (just like us!) or stress. Most people I'm close to are good at keeping an even temperament even in the midst of something negative. However, there are certainly a few people in my life who have very intense emotional reactions and tend to fluctuate moods depending on that emotion. Even though it can be hard to handle at times, I know that everyone is entitled to her own feelings and reactions to things. Sure, many women get a touch of this around the time of their periods, but in general, do you think that you're a moody person?

Geek Tip: Tag Your iTunes With Moody

Similar to what we experienced with Musicovery, where you search web radio according to your mood, Moody allows you to tag the tunes you already have by the way they make you feel.

Tags are color coded and their names are customized any way you want them to be. Have tons of Al Green? He might be a little more towards the red end of the color spectrum, under the "Gettin' in the Mood" tag if you know what I mean. Whereas, Daft Punk might be a yellow "Lets Dance!" tag. It's all up to you! You can even label your tunes as you listen, so you don't have to sit for hours tagging photos when you should be doing other, more productive things - like reading geeksugar, of course! Moody is free and available for iTunes on OSX and Windows.

Dear Fit,
I am usually pretty good at working out but recently I've been skipping a few days because work's been super busy. I find that on those days I get super moody... What's up with that? Is it all in my head?

Actually it is all in your head, but not the way in which you're thinking. Here's the deal, according to Peak Performance Online: Your pituitary gland (a gland located at the base of your brain) releases substantial quantities of 'endorphins' - chemicals which can block sensations of pain and produce overall feelings of euphoria - when you preform strenuous activities like running or biking. In other words, exercise makes you feel and look good, it's scientifically proven. This is why some people can get 'addicted' to exercise or feel a 'runners high'. Just like any addiction, withdrawal symptoms are normal, so don't worry. Get back on the ~~horse~~ treadmill as soon as you can and you're sure to be feeling great all over again.

Swim With the Fishies...In Your Bathtub?

You know how I have been talking about how having a big and bulky fish tank in my apartment would not be the best idea? Well, this one would eliminate that issue . . . sort of.

The Moody Acquario that I caught on Born Rich has you soaking right alongside your aquatic pals. The tempered glass and wood tank from Italian based company Lavabo, is built into your tub for ultimate relaxation. 'Cause really, what's more relaxing than watching your fish swim around their tank? Taking a nice hot bath, that's what. Unfortunately, this kind of luxury doesn't come cheap. The Moody Acquario weighs in at a whopping $15,000 big ones! But, honestly, it's kind of weird, right? Even though we've seen some interesting tanks here, this one has to take the cake. What do you think – would you rock the Acquario in your bathroom?

FABTV: The Moody Blues "Nights in White Satin"

Warning: This video is old school, and kinda of hokey, but this song is so good. It's so sexy! The Moody Blues were pretty dramatic, and though this video lacks drama, it represents a different time. A time when men wore dusty colored sports coats, buttoned up shirts, and shaggy hair. I love this mod look. Where have all the mods gone? With shots of Paris dispersed throughout, the song is really intoxicating. Sometimes heart wrenching. Maybe it's just me being a dramatic romantic. But listen in and mellow out.

David Duchovny Is A Literary Figure

David Duchovny was sporting a bit of salt and pepper facial hair while out in Brentwood earlier in the week. David doesn't stick to his Hank Moody uniform when he's not on set and his marriage is definitely back on track but he does have a few similarities to his ladies man character. David recently talked about his own aspirations as a writer as well as experience as his time as a student, revealing that he does still "dabble" in writing and has some interesting thoughts on how Californication should end.

Get the Look: The Cullen Living Room

Twilight had some serious design eye candy, so it's no surprise that New Moon would follow suit. This photo of the Cullen's living room is making me a feel a pang of envy. The apple greens and beige mixed with the abstract artwork, flickering pillar candles, and plethora of flowers creates a moody vibe that is totally calm and almost otherworldly. These colors wouldn't normally be my go-to colors, but seeing this beautiful space has me itching to redesign my home.
