Don't get me wrong, I love being able to see a movie I missed in theaters as soon as it becomes available on DVD — don't we all? But in all honesty, it really doesn't bother me if I want to watch it on my cable pay-per-view service and wait a few months after the DVD release. Well according to The New York Times, Warner Brothers will now be offering video-on-demand systems on the same day they are released as DVDs.

Bad news if you're one of the many who peek at your favorite shows online: Hulu may start charging for content as early as next year.
I can't say I'm surprised by this — not much comes free, so it was bound to happen eventually — but that doesn't mean I'm not bummed. Even though many of the network sites stream their own shows, Hulu has always been a reliable source for older TV shows, movies, and fun exclusive interviews.

Adam Lambert's new song "Time For Miracles" leaked online a few days ago, and I was admittedly mixed about it. Now, the music video for the song is making the rounds on the blogosphere, and I'm actually digging it more than I thought I would!
It's from the upcoming film 2012, so it has the obligatory movie scenes, but dare I say, Lambert's pretty darn sexy in it.

Behold, another project from a Friends alum: David Schwimmer will direct the upcoming film Trust, a drama about two parents dealing with the aftermath when their daughter becomes the target of an online sexual predator. Clive Owen and Catherine Keener will play the parents; newcomer Liana Liberato will star as their daughter.
This will be Schwimmer's second time in the director's chair, though the subject matter is a far cry from Run Fatboy Run.

Soon there will be yet another premium cable channel competing against HBO, Showtime, and your attention. Offering up newly released movies, Epix will launch its service in October with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at the top of its playlist. But what Epix is doing differently is something any Internet fiend can get behind: they're launching five months early to online subscribers first.

I go back and forth on the file sharing debate, unable to find solid footing on just one side of the issue. But when I heard that Michael Moore was releasing his new documentary online as a free download, and was even encouraging watchers to "share it or show it in any way you see fit," I thought "Okay, that works." But unfortunately, after the film showed up on torrent sites, letters of cease-and-desist were delivered to many users, sparking a geographical sharing debate.

Jennifer Garner and Ashton Kutcher were back on the LA set of Valentine's Day Friday, laughing as they shot a few silly promo photos. Things quickly went from funny to steamy, as the duo switched gears and moved on to their kissing scenes. Jennifer is balancing work and home duty these days, filming her movie while Ben concentrates on The Town in Boston.

Starting tomorrow you'll be able to catch all your favorite shows online with Hulu, which is set to emerge from its private beta status — yay! Hulu already distributes content for NBC and FOX and will be adding more content from Warner Brothers, Lionsgate as well as many other networks. Not only will you get to watch great shows like The Office and House, but Hulu also provides full length movies.
