New Moon Soundtrack Out Today! What to Sink Your Teeth Into
The film version of this Fall's sequel to Twilight isn't all fans have been rabidly anticipating — the New Moon soundtrack picked up enough steam to be released today instead of next Tuesday. It's no wonder it was rushed out; Death Cab for Cutie's video for "Meet Me on the Equinox", premiered to much fanfare, as did the tracklist, revealed barely a month ago.
The wait is over, and you can go buy the disc, download it, or stream the soundtrack on MySpace for free today.
Every Beatles Song on an Apple-Shaped USB Drive
Only 30,000 of these limited-edition Beatles USB drives will be made, and are expected to be released in North America on Dec. 8. For $280, the 16GB drive contains the entire Beatles catalog, plus extras like videos, album art, and photos.
New Music: Norah Jones's "Light as a Feather"
It's been seven years since Norah Jones burst onto the music scene with her debut album and mega-hit "Don't Know Why," and the talented chanteuse has continued to make beautiful, jazzy music (and one movie, which we'll just forget about) ever since.
Her latest album is The Fall, which comes out Nov. 17, and I'm already entranced by the soft, haunting "Light as a Feather."

In the Spotlight: Alicia Keys Has a Furry Run-In On Set!
Don't worry, these pics are from the set of a music video — no doggies were actually harmed! Songstress Alicia Keys, recorded "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" featuring this furry scene from her upcoming fourth album on Friday.
The pooch sports a couple collars with a super-chunky, braided-orange one on top — Get a similar, slimmer styles in tangerine (chocolate, white or aqua) from Wagwear for $22 and a matching leash ($34), too.
Britney Has All Eyes on Her...and a Certain Ring?
Britney Spears had lots of red accents going on with her outfit out in LA last night, but all eyes were on some serious bling adorning her left ring finger. Britney's always been playful when it comes to that sort of thing, but the timing works with all the stories that it's getting more serious with Jason Trawick who was with her once again yesterday. Tomorrow we'll be treated to Britney's hot new music video for "3" and she's giving up some small sneak peeks into what to expect.
What to Download: New Music Today
Happy Tuesday — also known as my favorite day of the week for new DVD releases as well as music releases. On this crisp Fall day, the new tunes I'm recommending are of the indie, alt-rock variety. Check out the albums and tracks I've picked out as being worthy of a download.
