A new partnership has just been formed that will allow sample sale fans to get their fix from the comfort of their own home! The Council of Fashion Designers of America has joined with Gilt.com to give CFDA members - think Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore - the option of doing their sample sales online.

Already, Marchesa, Rachel Roy, and Bulgari have teamed with Gilt Groupe's Gilt.com for the site's one-day designer-specific online sales, and Behnaz Sarafpour and Sari Gueron have upcoming sales in the works. Gilt Groupe offers 3-4 online sales per week - for sale access, you must be a referred member, but once accepted, there are no fees involved. Everyone loves a sample sale, right?!

If I could buy everything at Revolve Clothing, I probably would. Too bad the steep prices stop me. The good news is that its sale section has plenty of items for cheaper than usual. Right now you'll find dresses, tops, pants, and a few purses and shoes.

I have been eyeing this Nanette Lepore Ain't She Sweet Top ($160, originally $320) for some time now. It will give me a chance to participate in the sheer trend without revealing too much.

One of my favorite things about the middle of July is all of the awesome sales that occur, both online and off. Summer isn't even half way over and the stores are already clearing their summer lines, just in time for my annual August vacation!

The Banana Republic Summer Sale happening now online and in-stores. BR switched to the semi-annual sale model about three years ago and it was an instant success. The deals you can find here are incredible, up to 60% off!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started last week and runs through July 30. The cool thing about this sale is it is actually brand-spanking-new Fall merchandise instead of mid-summer leftovers! I actually hold a special place in my heart for this sale because my mom and I used to get up at the crack of dawn on the first day of the sale in order to be the very first people at the store. Now, thanks to the Internet, you can shop the sale online from the comfort of your couch. Much better than that 4am wake-up call.
The Bergdorf Goodman Sale. Tons of stuff from top designers like Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Taylor and Nanette Lapore for up to 65% off!
The online sale at Shop Intuition. Again, thanks to the fabulousness of the Internet, we can take advantage of the summer sale at one of LA's hottest boutiques from anywhere in the world. I've been wanting a fringe piece in my closet to reflect my love of the '20s.
