Ne-Yo To Celebrate Foster-Mother's Day with Brunch

Ne-Yo is speaking out about his childhood in an attempt to shine light on America's foster care system. Ne-Yo credits his mom for helping him overcome his frustration with the fact that his dad left the family.

There are half a million children in America's foster care system, many of whom face a life in foster care that can be worse than their family lives. Foster parents are often under compensated and under trained to take care of children who feel unwanted and unloved.

Ne-Yo believes we all have a responsibility toward our future, and thus all children. To see what he's doing about it, read more. To show his appreciation for those doing something positive, the Grammy winning singer-song writer is throwing a brunch this Sunday for 50 single and foster mothers.

Ne-Yo told AP:

They need something special. So with the success I've been given, through the blessings I have, how could I not use it for good? This is a way to help people who deserve it - for both the mothers and children.

At the Mother's Day brunch, Ne-Yo will perform and childcare workers will entertain young children, while their mothers enjoy themselves.

I think it's wonderful that Ne-Yo is showing his appreciation for his mother with an event that celebrates other strong mothers, while also shining attention on a crisis facing America. What are you doing this Mother's Day to show your mom you appreciate her?

Joe Perry played it rock 'n roll cool, Adam Lambert worked his slim suit, Ne-Yo looked spiffy in a two-tone blazer and fedora, Pete Wentz did his military thing, and Keith Urban opted for all black. No doubt, they all dressed to impress, but which stylin' male is most Fab?

Celeb Spotting at Paris Fashion Week's Opening Weekend

After Milan Fashion Week ended this weekend, the stars travelled to France for Paris Fashion Week. My girl FabUK wants to know what you would wear for the train journey over. The famous females in attendance were going for monochrome at the shows, with serial London Fashion Week attendee Mischa Barton enjoying the catwalk creations at Marlies Dekkers alongside Kelly Rowland, Usher, Solange Knowles and Ne-Yo, who has also been on our shores. Lady Victoria Hervey represented the UK, while Milla Jovovich continued the monochrome theme at Balmain. More famous faces will no doubt feast on the fashion as Paris Fashion Week continues.

Girls and Guys Get Glam For the American Music Awards!

The American Music Awards took place last night in Los Angeles, celebrating the best in US music from the past 12 months! Taylor Swift was the big winner of the night, dominating the female categories and getting gongs for favourite artist in both pop and country categories as well as beating Michael Jackson to the huge award - Artist of the Year. Taylor's in London at the moment and missed the ceremony, but Michael's family Jermaine and Janet were at the ceremony and picked up the late singer's four awards.

Country act Gloriana were shocked to beat Lady GaGa to Breakthrough Artist award, while Twilight picked up yet another award for Favourite Soundtrack. Performers included Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, Rihanna, Lady GaGa as well as a performance by Adam Lambert that's got everyone talking - see why under the cut!

Is there anything Miley Cyrus can't do? The 15-year-old singer/actor has now written an autobiography, for which she was reportedly paid a seven-figure sum. She's had a busy week, enjoying the shows at LA Fashion Week after taking her adorbale pooch to Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood. At the weekend Miley was on our shores, performing at BBC Switch Live alongside McFly, Ne-Yo and Fall Out Boy, all of whom did their best impressions backstage. Rihanna, Madonna, and Blake Support Kids and Gucci

Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF. The dresses were varied, but Madonna certainly stood out in her unique green LV number, she is the face of the brand after all, on a break from her world tour tonight in Philadelphia. She has a few nights off after that, and according to court records, she will be officially divorced as of tomorrow. As for Rihanna, we'll get to see her strutting her hot stuff on stage this Sunday at the American Music Awards.

Diddy Turns 39 With Friends and a Special Gift From the US

Diddy's 39th birthday party at Mansion in New York last night was packed with his famous friends, and the celebration was doubly sweet after Barack Obama's Tuesday night win. The bday boy himself waved a patriotic American flag before mugging for the cameras with his buddy Jay-Z. While Beyonce found time to express her post-election patriotism, she'll be performing at the Europe MTV Awards tonight so the party was a no go. Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor stopped by after the Michael J. Fox benefit looking every bit the perfect team. Rebecca Gayheart hammed it up with Jack McBrayer, which reminds me that Oprah is on 30 Rock tonight! It should be almost as much fun as Diddy's fancy soiree.

The Boys Rock Signature Styles on the Grammy Red Carpet

While the ladies are usually the red carpet highlight of an award show, the Grammys wouldn't have been complete without its musical men. The Jonas Brothers continued their streak of going all out in tuxes, with Joe rocking an extra shiny jacket. Jay-Z also went formal as he gave a hug to his friend Chris Martin before they took the stage together inside the show. T.I. and Snoop mixed it up in their colorful blazers and sunglasses while John Mayer added a punch of purple to his black ensemble. Whether they walked away winners or not, the handsome men made it all the more fun.
